> The theme was “Risk it for the biscuit.”
Our game connects to this theme through both story and gameplay. At the beginning, the Emperor calls the Hero to rescue the city from an alien invasion. The Hero must risk everything across three levels: fighting aliens, defeating aircrafts, and collecting the kingdom’s gold before it is stolen.
At the end, after all the risks, the Emperor rewards the Hero in front of the citizens. The twist is that the “ultimate prize” is a biscuit, turning the theme into a funny but memorable ending — the Hero truly “risked it for the biscuit.”
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code and assets were created from scratch except for one thing: the sound effects, which we got from the free online site Pixabay.

cute game, would of liked maybe a slighty faster fire rate but overall would say it was enjoyable
Couldn't leave a rating, says it's disqualified or something. The gameplay is okay for a game jam. That being said, it kinda misses on the theme. Sure, it has that one single biscuit at the end and the robot dude technically risked his life for it but I, as a player, never at any point ever felt like I risked anything. Also, guys, I hate to break it to you but the whole point of making your own assets is that they're supposed to have matching art styles. Like, you could've saved yourselves a whole lot of time and would've gotten a better result if you just used some better matching premade assets.
Nice music! Would've loved to move around more. Loved the idea of levels! Cool game.
Was a fun game. Art was really nice. Sound was good too. Not sure if it's limited to the web version only but I did notice the audio did only come out of my left earphone piece (confirmed it wasn't an issue with my headphones by testing a youtube video :P )

pretty fun game, enjoyed it a lot, did notice you can hit the drowned enemy before they despawn and get points XD 8/10, nise game :)

The art style and sound design work very well together. I loved the dialogue too. It took me several attempts to finish level 3. Good job!

What were the events of the 1st Planet War? No matter... The 2nd Planet War entertained me for a solid few minutes; most impressive of all is the sheer variety - there are three levels, and each level is unique. Perhaps a touch of polish could have raised the game (sorry for the pun), but the game is short & charming & I enjoyed it. Jah bless 🙏🙏
