I really like this unique concept. It was fun trying to navigate the car, going for a blitz (or at least strike), and some of the lanes were really challenging.
Unfortunately, the game has a few bugs. The first time I played, the camera got stuck at the end of a lane. I could still control the car, but could not see anything, so I had to restart. The second time I played, the first lane was completely skipped ("-/-" in score). Both of these times there was no music. The third time, there was suddenly music, and everything worked fine.
With some polish, I think this could be an awesome game.
Simple and fun concept. Takes time to master the drift. Enjoyed the level progression. I didn't hear any music? Great entry!
Cool game, I really liked the visuals and the mechanics. Well done!
Fun concept and game! Only issue I feel like the timing between strikes was unnecessarily long. I wish there was a way to press to skip. Same thing with the fly through of the stage. I did run into a weird bug where the camera got stuck and then the game kept going which didnt allow me to aim at all since the camera was stuck on the last lane. Other than that great idea and execution! If you guys developed this out further I could see it being a good steam or phone game.
played your game on my stream on YT! check it : )
love the creativity!
Honestly a really fun little game. Just wish there was a backing track, felt a little creepy without anything playing.
Such a fun game! I loved it! The controls were challenging in a good way which made the game enjoyable! The only thing I'd say is that the bomb collisions felt a bit off. Other than that, great work guys!
Really liked the controls of this game felt like it was just hard enough to still make mistakes and what's not great about driving full speed into pins
Great idea and very fun game! I found several bugs during my playthrough, the first time at the campaign the game skipped my first throw completely and also the blitz wasn't present during the whole set, after reloading again the campaign it didn't happen again but now the sound was turned off, and at the same set the camera bugged and stayed in the previous lane.
Aside from these bugs the idea is fun and very crazy :)
I was AWFUL at this (found the handling really tough!) but I loved it nonetheless - can't go wrong with bowling!
I struggle a bit with how this fits the theme, but regardless it's a really well made game. I appreciate that it tells you what state it is in, to avoid the player thinking it has froze for example. Great idea
I love trying to drift into the bowling pins
This was really unexpected twist on the theme. Great game!
This is some good, silly, fun. I did have trouble navigating the UI in the web build; everything was crammed into the upper left corner of the screen. Once I got the actual game, had a great time!
Well that was fun! Got stuck on the seventh lane- the camera just stayed at the end with the one pin I didn't knock down while the game continued on. But it's a great concept and I think the wonky driving is great for the it. Fun little cinematic intro as well.
Really fun concept! The combination of racing and bowling is a creative twist. Well done!
This was a pretty unique concept! Unfortunately, I did run into some bugs, and I'm not sure what exactly caused it. First, when I start the game, the title screen is very zoomed in, so I wasn't able to actually press play until I [ctrl+ -] a few times. And then once I was actually in the game, the camera angle was all off and I could only see the car and a small area around it. I played through the whole thing, not being able to see where I was going. When I refreshed the page and tried again, it was somehow fixed. Other than that, the game was great!
Really liked the game its a nice twist on bowling
The controls are great the way they are I would leaf them as they are The car looks great too The gameplay is amazing I would Upgrade the graphics a bit maybe add some cars to unlock add some music and than you could release it on steam or something I would buy it its a nice relaxing Highscore driving game
Nice work :)
I can’t say it’s not fun it does manage to keep you playing. However, the vehicle felt a bit unresponsive, which made the controls feel somewhat off.
Other than that, there’s almost no visual feedback, and the UI looks quite lifeless. Some elements, like the trees on the map, appear blurry. On the positive side, I liked the visual detail of the car doors opening and closing while moving that looked nice.
The SFX also felt too loud (probably the gain is too high), and there was no background music. Overall, it’s an interesting idea, but the execution felt a bit lacking.
Appreciate the direct feedback, all of it is warranted / fair!
It's the blessing and the curse of the game jam, thanks for playing!
Love this idea! The weight/physics felt really satisfying and the sound tied it all together. It would be cool to introduce more power ups/upgrades/debuffs for variety
