How does the game fit the theme?
You're a cargo pilot with nerves of steel, flying through enemy-filled skies.
Blast incoming fire with your ship’s guns, then hop out to grab crates from sketchy floating platforms.
Docking with platforms is risky because if you make one slip, it's a long drop to nowhere. Think fast, fly smart, and don’t fall!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Code, assets and background music were created during the jam. Sound FX are royalty free.

Wow this game is beautiful! I absolutely love the art style with the printed paper like aesthetic. Fun gameplay as well, with the novel twist of being able to leave your ship. Great job
Good job! Unique and beautiful art and music and a cool mechanic having to adjust between walking and shooting!
Thanks for playing! Appreciate the kind words :)
This a cool idea, and need to be more iterated upon. You can make a great game with this foundation. I think the hardest part will be difficulty adjustment, coz right now I think this is too hard, I couldn't get more than 2 cargos.
The cargos makes the ship's tail longer and easier to hit, the enemy ship being indestructible also makes it harder, but at the same time it should be challenging also, many factors could be discussed, but its a good problem to have.
Anyway, I have fun, nice visual aesthetics, great game, keep on developing!
Thanks so much for the encouragement and great feedback! My original idea was that the tail of crates would introduce a growing risk as the game progressed, but you're right that it seems like there should be more ways to protect them. Really appreciate that you took the time to play and share your thoughts!
Reminds me of my childhood playing these space type games. Was difficult but fun, wish it was a bit longer and if you could upgrade your ship. Good Job though.
Really appreciate the feedback! I had planned a longer stage with more platforms and enemies, but the time crunch led me to focus on a short-but-polished proof of concept. I'd love to expand it later, so your input is super helpful!
really loved the game visuals are too good😍 game has a good potential
Thanks so much for checking out! So glad you enjoyed it :)
It's a cool game, I'm very surprised... especially since it was made alone... the game has a very nice visual... special respect for using the game maker!!
I am bit conflicted about this game, on one hand the game is very well made, have great sprite and amazing concept, but the game is way too short to see a bigger scope on this game.
Eg: you can't destroy ship, but if it did the game would be way too easy
I complete the game, but no win screen made me feel empty, etc
It feels like I just played tutorial, and I want the game to start but it never did.
Don't get me wrong this is a great game, and I enjoyed it for what it is. I just want share to feel about this game.
You nailed the foundation, but I am hungry for more depth- is the summary what I feel about this game
Thanks for giving it a try and for the feedback! I originally planned a longer stage with more platforms and enemies, but the time crunch pushed me to focus on a shorter, more polished proof of concept. I’d love to expand it down the line, so your input and encouragement really means a lot :)
Amazing game, really creative too. I really liked the sounds and art. I never got the front guns to be useful, tho.
Thanks so much for playing! Really appreciate the feedback about the guns. Right now, they only block enemy shots, but I’d love to give them more utility if I keep working on the game.
At first, I thought it was a standard vertical scrolling game until I noticed the character getting out of the plane to collect the cargo! Very cool! Very creative!!!
I just missed being able to destroy the other aircraft. From what I understand, you can only destroy their shots?
Good game anyway!
Really appreciate the feedback! Right now, your guns can only destroy enemy shots, but I'd like to change that in any future updates. Thanks so much for playing :)
i tacked time to understand how to play, very cool, i hoped that i can destroy other ships
Thanks so much for playing, and for the great feedback! Would love to add more usefulness to the shooting mechanic in the future.
This was really fun! Well polished and fit the theme very well. Great job!
I really like the idea that you can jump out of your ship to walk, i think there is a lot of potential! And obviously the visual effect is just really beautiful! :)
Really appreciate the kind words! So glad you liked it :)
Really nice game, I like the concept of docking and then controlling your character! Looks really nice and sound effects fit perfectly! Not sure if it was intended, but i was able to spam shoot really fast, so putting some sort of fire rate limit would be a nice touch!
Glad you liked it! And that's a great bit of feedback that I can try to address if I keep fleshing it out. Really appreciate it :)
Crazy polished for a solo project, loved the change between hopping out of the ship and getting back to it in time. Very cool aesthetic as well, loved it!
Thanks so much for trying it out! Really appreciate the awesome feedback :)
Really good concept!, Love it <3
Thanks! Really appreciate it :)
Nice retro vertical scroller. Reminds me a bit of Raiden, but I really loved the twist of docking the ship and controlling the player on the platform. Would be cool to develop the idea even further. Nice job!
Thanks so much for the feedback :) Appreciate you checking it out!
This is a really cool idea! I liked the side scroll art, thought that added a lot. The person getting out of the ship wasn't intuitive at first, but then I liked it after I got the idea. I think maybe adding some sound effects would have helped so that I knew if I had died, or my ship got shot at, things like that.
Thanks so much for your feedback! I greatly appreciate you checking it out. There was an issue early on that prevented sound fx from playing, but it should be working now.
Love the whole idea of docking the ship and getting out. It surprised me the first time I bumped up against the platform and a person came out!
Heh, nice! I really appreciate you trying it out.
Nice simple game!
I actually really liked the idea. Very well play with the theme. :)
At the start i use the up arrow too much and it took me a while to get back to screen hahaha
Thanks so much for checking out! I really appreciate it :)
Really appreciate it! And thanks for the feedback :)
