In what way does your game fit the theme?
By collecting as much junk as possible, you are able to attain enough mass to penetrate barriers from alien invaders. If you do not have enough mass, you will crash. You are stronger with more.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code yes. 95% of assets created from scratch.
Audio, Font, and a robot used in the finale were not created by us.

Aww, that's too bad!
Good project so far, there's definitely a real challenge in trying to click on objects and dodge the environment at the same time. Could use some polish/balancing with collisions and clicking on objects on the screen. Felt a little tooo precise.

What I liked:
- The concept was good
- The gameplay was interesting
- The graphics were very good looking
What I didn't like
- I felt that the ship moved too fast, I wasn't able to pick up anything because it would already be behind me
- It was difficult to see when I was on a collision course with something, maybe a radar would be good?
- The bombs and magnets (I think those were there) surprised me, I feel like you should have warned the player that they were there
I think with a bit of a refactoring and edits your game could be very fun! Good work
Yup, there was a lot of refactoring, polishing, optimizing, playtesting that needed to be done, but ran out of time sadly. Things did not go as planned. I still think it was a nice solid submission though!
Incredible graphics and fun gameplay. Only thing is the hitboxes (mainly of the Water) are broken as hell. You could add some settings (sound & music volume up/down), maybe different rocket skins and the game would be a clean 10/10.

Ha, well, if you believe it, this was supposed to be even more beautiful, but you know how it goes during game jams!
This is overall a fun and very well made game. The visuals is pretty amazing. The difficulty was a bit high, and think this might be more fun to play as two player game. Overall a good jam game. Well done.

Nice idea, the game was pretty hard, It took me some time to understand what to do.
The collision is weird, It feel like the collider is bigger than the rocket.
The UI is fine for the most but there is font there that I can't read.

Yeah, we should have just left the default text there instead of trying to do fancy text. As for the collision, it can seem that way yeah.

No worries. UE4 graphics are OP.
Looks great, but in my opinion, it has some problems with depth and collisions. Took me a while to understand that you start at the lowest high possible, and the minimum down input would make you crash. Apart from that, very good job.

Really cool idea and the game looks stunning, people have already mentioned the difficulty being too high so I won’t go too much into that, but I thought it would be nice if you kept up with this and turned it into a release.

It's pretty fun to play although the hitbox on the ship is massive
What did you like about the game?
I thought it was a cool concept of surrounding yourself with parts, and it's not something I've seen in any other games I've rated, I also enjoyed the thrill of trying to click on all the junk in the scene
This game is super creative! The ship's hitbox was quite massive, so I spent most of my time crashing, but that's about my only critique. Very fun!
Haha, well, I thought I had double-checked it, but it should have been a little smaller than the body of the ship.

Yes! I was able to, it taught well!
I really like this game. Honestly, I kept failing on the second barrier level because I SUCK. But I just kept doing it because I just felt the needed to beat it. Which is me saying, it was fun.
That said, there are some technical issues that take away from it a bit. It seems like the hitboxes are a bit off so I kept hitting things when it felt like I shouldn't. I would also lose garbage sometimes for seemingly. I think this was either a result of funny hitboxes, or there is a comment on the itch page about balancing yourself that I didn't quite understand. Also, not a critique of the game, but a note to look at if you are going to continue development. This game doesn't run super well on my computer. It seems to almost max out my GPU, but I have a GTX 1060 6GB. But that didn't ruin my experience, just a comment.
Anyway, great job on the game and I hope you guys do well. It is a very good and unique concept.
Haha, you don't suck, I did go through all the level, and tried to balance them a bit more (giving more space where I felt was needed), and while I do think that I did an okay job, I did play the game all week AND designed the levels. So my interpretation of "okay" was biased from the start lol.
So, I think the issue wit the collision, is that they are bigger when you go and click them (so it's easier), but I don't remember actually shrinking them down when they are attached (so it's less likely to fall off), I meant to, but I'm pretty sure that didn't happen sadly.
As for performance, that's another area we had planned on looking into, but ran out of time. I have a Ryzen 3900X, 1070TI, 64GB RAM, SSD, and it played fine on my end, but I knew that we needed to do optimization for those that don't have max specs.

Probably the most unique mechanic that relates to the game jam theme. I just kept on crashing and crashing XD
Hahaha, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Honestly, when I was thinking about my pitch, I wanted something that was going to be feasible with the team size, easy to implement, and we could polish up as much as possible. Sadly, things didn't go as planned, but I'm still proud for what we were able to accomplish given the circumstances and timeline.
Yeah that tends to happen in-game jams but you narrowed your scope and I think things turned out alright in the end.
Great Game! A real interesting take on the theme. One thing that you may want to change is to make hit boxes for the items a little bigger because I found that they were difficult to click on.
Actually, I did make them bigger! It's hidden, but there's a sphere collision that's actually just a tad bigger than the biggest part of the mesh. But, I think the bigger issue was the camera. Also, the ship is in the way sometimes. So it feels like you can click on it (when it's green), but something's actually obstructed the line trace to the target.

This is a nice concept, I enjoyed having the opportunity to make the bomb collide and drop off when I accidentally picked it up, what I am having issues with is that it has fairly low frame rates, im running on a 3600x and a gtx 1080 but i also think the camera view is a bit clunky, I really like the concept though, nice visuals too, I hope you have a good day mate, good luck and keep it up!
I have a 3900X 1070TI, 64GB RAM,. I didn't notice framerate drops, but I also wasn't really trying to worry about that at 4:30AM LOL!
We did plan on optimizing, but just never got around to it sadly.

Really fun concept that with polish could make for a great game!
Main problems i had while playing were collision based. there were many times where I 'd either hit something my model wasn't actually touching or I'd not be able to actually gauge the distance between things. Maybe try widening the area the player can fly or try changing the perspective a bit.

Ah yeah, it's hard to see the collision with the camera angle. I had intended to change the camera angle, but honestly totally forgot about it, and was already used to it.
