Absolutely amazing! Loved the visuals, loved the sounds and found the gameplay to be incredibly satisfying. Leaderboards add to the overall replayability, too. My only small nitpick would be that the banana somewhat breaks your Cinemachine setup. Other than that, the polish on this game is astounding. Great job!

This game is amazingly polished! The visuals, the sounds... everything is so satisfying. I also experienced the bug where you cannot unlock the next fruits, but after restarting the game it seems to allow playing those levels, even if visually they are still locked.

Since your score is online, it takes a moment for the server to verify if you've unlocked a new fruit. As a result, if the internet connection is not very fast, this may take a little time. Maybe the bug is coming from there.
It was really fun playing the game. Loved the UI and the transitions!! I couldn't unlock the other fruits tho, even tho I went for about 101% on the strawberry. Nevertheless, it was a fun game with good mechanics and a nice replay value! Good job!

One question: For the shading of the strawberry and banana, how did you do it such that each "cell" of the fruit is rendered independently? Are they using normal maps or is my computer just rendering 500 of these spheres? Or is it just the colour, tricking my eyes?

There is in fact between 14k and 3k spheres on each fruits and yes they are rendered independently, it's quite simple : they switch from one material to another when a cell touch them. There is no normal map, the normal of each sphere has been modified to take the normals of the whole fruit (ti's why you see like it's just one object with the shadow). It take us a little bit of time to figure out how to handle all this elements individually. It's a brute force method :) Hope I answer your question.

THIS GAME RULES! I love the art, very cute and also yucky. The game is simple but so interesting. Very easy to pick up and understand. Best I could do on the scoreboard was 3rd on the Banana but I'm happy with that. Amazing work!

Played through all the levels and actually really enjoyed it! It feels super polished, well reactive and just overall really enjoyable! Of course I had to aim for all the highscores though ahaha. I would definitely play more of this, gives me chill, kick back with controller vibes.
