Really really cool concept ! Didn't see the speed slider at first I had fun turning it all the way up. Graphics are really cool, music is great and SFX too. Really good job
A lovely concept elevated by the awesome voice over. The occasional elevator malfunctions and requirement to prioritize angry customers forces you to put out small fires as the game goes on, which I think is the strongest element of the gameplay. If you expanded on this game, I would love to see even more things going wrong to make the game a bit more chaotic, like in Overcooked, for example. Keep up the good work!
Neat game, a bit hard but interesting idea, and well implemented! Love the voice over. Congrats and good luck!
Very polished game man, The gameplay was smooth and nice with creative idea 👌
Very polished game. I think what you do well is the scope feels just right, and because of that, the gameplay is simple, but solid. The scope choice also allowed you to make sure there are few, if any, bugs, which is a big accomplishment. One point of feedback is that I beat the game without ever refusing passengers. I grabbed passengers, dropped them off, and then picked everybody up from where I dropped them, which was enough to win. Perhaps if the elevator capacity was decreased it would make the option more viable? I always make a point to give feedback, but even this is a tiny nitpick, so it won't have any bearing on my rating.
Fun and intuitive idea, very nice presentation with the VA and all.
I played this until LONG after the counter maxed out at 99. Would absolutely play more of this!!
Hi, thank you so much for your comment! :) We will try to make an update after the jam to balance the difficulty and make it more re-playable! :)
I am space elevator, we are space bell boy, the space is elevator, when are we going to build a space elevator?
Really impressive Jam game! Had a great time and the mechanic really drew me in! Plus VA-ing! Incredible!
This has a very nice game flow, once I got into it things just started working - and you lose track of time. The aesthetics and audio add to that chill vibe, the color coding is intuitive. I wonder if we could switch direction if it'd make more orl ess sense - it's still a puzzle challenge, but probably more forgiving? Good stuff otherwise.
Thank you for your comment, we are happy that you liked it! We thought about switching direction but decided that having one direction would emphasise the loop part. :) I think it could definitely be a difficulty setting to rotate in both direction or not.
Perhaps there could be some positive reinforcement if you did make a loop in case players could change directions. Like completing a loop gives some sort of a bonus (power-ups). :)
Oh my goodness I spent far too much time in that game. Really good pixel art, voice acting, and dialogue was funny
Thank you so much for your comment! We will try to update the game after the jam, if you are interested 😀
