Very fun game! The visual and sound effects were really nice. I think if the overall visuals were nicer it could have been more enticing to people, but this was actually quite fun once you play it. Having the ball just zipping around is just fun. Making it having some sorts of sound as you roll around or hitting walls ot turning corner could also make this more fun.

The mechanics are simple but fun, but I think the controls could be a bit better. It was a bit awkward to press those assigned keys on some of the levels.

I like that how this game present gameplay and the puzzle not hard that much for me to solve haha.

If possible, can you please rate my game and leave a comment too?

Really cool idea! I havent seen a single game like it yet (And I've played close to 200 games so far). I enjoyed it a lot. Theres a lot of super clever puzzles. Nice work!

I've got thrown back to windows 98/2000/XP and it felt amazing! Very clever to build not just the puzzles, but also the difficulty to press the correct buttons at the right time!

Yes a lot of my artwork reflects 90s windows graphics! I have a love for old DOS games as well!

This a very neat game! I enjoy how you gotta plan everything and also manage to execute it well in a nice mix of puzzle thinking and reaction time. Some of the puzzles do feel a bit overwhelming though, with how large they are. Still, definitely an idea that could be iterated on even more!

Neat and creative puzzles! I had a blast especially with the last level, very unique.

Developer

I love that you finished it!  Glad you had fun. Thanks so much for playing.  I had fun making it!

This feels like a game in the Windows Entertainment Pack from the 90s and it's great for that. Well done. I really don't have any notes because for a puzzle game it's quite good.

Developer

If I opened a gamming studio it would probably have a lot of old windows and DOS like games.  The 90s PC game influenced pretty much every part of my game making world!

I liked it :) but I couldn't figure out the level where you have red green then blue :D I think I am still tired from yesterday

I need to do a better job of creating tutorials.  I definitely need more testers!  I am keeping that in mind for when the jam is done. I will be updating this.

Haha, I figured out that you needed to press Space once you release the ball to make it slow down during its travel to reach the correct color.

The consistency of visuals and sound effects make this a great polished submission. The puzzles are fun to work out, especially the timed reaction ones when the charged up speed of movement is high. It took me a shameful amount of time to figure out how to change the colors as well hahaha! Great game, keep it up :>>

A cool puzzle concept with a little pinch of physics! ^^ Really addictive! I struggled a bit to figure out how to change colors, but after that, it's a breeze (that's the right word :D)

Cool puzzle idea where you have to think and react in time!

Really creative and fun idea! I liked it a lot

This idea is super fresh. I never play any game that have this mechanic before but not take too long to understand. It looks like a puzzle genre but require controlling skill also. Love this game so much.

I really liked this game! Easy to understand, a bit of a challenge but not too difficult, awesome job!

Genuinely so fun! Amazing idea, easy to understand, great execution, everything is awesome. Great job, hope this gets more attention.

Really fun concept, really satisfying breaking the blocks and making the ball supersonic.

Submitted(+1)

That's a really neat concept and very well made! I couldn't get past 4th or 5th level, but that's just my skills :D

I loved it!

Incredibly creative and well-thought-out. Also a big fan of the assets!

this game immediately brought back nostalgia for a game I played like...20 years ago...I have no idea what that game was, but this was such a cool idea! feels really satisfying to play, with interesting puzzle-like elements. loved it!

I took a lot of inspiration from my favorite childhood games on this one. Wonder if that game your thinking of is the one that sparked this project for me?

Submitted

I bet so - do you mind telling me what the inspiration was?

Developer

I want to tell you but, I want to see if anyone can figure out what the obscure game is that I got inspiration from.  I will give you hint.  It was an unlicensed  NES game.  It also had a built in level editor.  Something burned into my brain from childhood.

Submitted

that's so interesting - I never even had an NES! where did my brain see this??? maybe I'll see if I can figure it out xD

Developer

after the jam ends I'll see if I can find some screen shots and some videos.  I do a lot of my art style in the form of 90s windows games as well so that could be where some of that's come from too.

Developer

If you can find video of the NES game "Dudes with attitude"  Watch some of the video.
