How does your game fit the theme?
The game revolves around the boss exploiting "loopholes" in the rules of the perks. Every perk technically gives you what it says, just twisted in the Game Master’s favor.

I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.
Hey cool! Thanks!
Congrats on the exciting results!! Hope Mark plays your game :D
Thanks, Im pretty happy with it! I'm hoping he tries it too! If it makes it in the video intro I'd call that a win lol!
this was really fun to play and great idea, good job on the game
Nice take on the theme! The music really fit the intenseness.
First try. Additional platform is must have
I was not expecting the twist at the end. Well played.
A really juicy game with buckets of style and great writing! A really interesting use of the prompt that is unique from everything else I've played this jam, great job! :D
This premise, dialogue, movement, mechanics, and audio are all perfect, so funny and well-executed. I was laughing immediately and the gameplay is genuinely punchy and fun, tell me why I was actually tilted every time the rules got twisted on me even knowing it was coming. I will say I did feel extra smart when I chose an option that secretly benefitted me too - the extra platform is goated for blocking bombs and helped save me from vertical movement - but that silly beach ball screwed me. Easily the most fun I've had in any game this jam, will be playing on repeat. Incredible job!
This was a very fun game to play! I love the vfx and the overall vibe of the game. The dialog and fights were a lot of fun. Overall a very nice game!
Thank you!
Awesome idea and great execution. A quality-of-life thing to do might be to auto-skip dialog I've already seen when restarting the game, or change it in someway to reference the fact that I've already seen it. I understand that's probably out of scope for a jam game. But I really enjoyed this! VOD here and thanks for submitting to the stream!
Awesome, thanks for playing! I was laughing when you got the fewer attacks per phase!
Really cool idea! I really like all the visual effects on the attacks and particles it really adds so much juice to the visuals. Great submission!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I'm really happy with how the vfx came out!
I think it's the best game I've seen so far in the jam! Great work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Really cool concept and super funny dialogue! Great job making some really fun boss fights!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! This is the first real boss fight I've made, and I had so much fun making it!
Very creative and fun! I really enjoyed the playthrough :)
Glad you liked it!
creative! but i don’t really enjoy it because there’s always a correct choice
That's understandable. The game is meant to be played a few times to find the least harmful route. Thanks for your feedback!
i would prefer it if all routes were equally viable
I had a great time playing the game! The SFX are great, and I really like the visuals! Also reminds me a bit of JSAB! I did get Chummy on top of the platform the first time though, so I couldn't babysit him D: Otherwise incredible game :D
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah chummy + platform is pretty tough, but chummy is almost a run ender on his own anyway. I kinda wish I had time to do unique dialogue for funny combos like that! Thanks for the thoughtful review!
*spoiler*
Does the "more time between attacks" actually add 0.00018 sec? :p if that's in the code, its glorious!
Haha good question! I left a comment where it would've gone for fun, but that time is less than the time between frames so it's not possible.
It'd be pretty funny if someone ever decompiled one of my games cause there's weird comments and debug messages all over the place. Like the final player attack technically does have a cool down, so I left a sarcastic comment to myself there.
I HATE YOU Pentahedron :v just kidding, very fun to play, I had a great time
Haha exactly! The game master is designed to be a pain! That just makes the end more satisfying though!
It hurt so bad but it feel so good at the same time :) I don't know why I trusted the "add tile" 2 time, maybe I still have hope in the boss :
Very creative twist on the theme. I enjoyed the challenge a lot and I was curious to know what would be exploited next.
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Really fun bullet hell game!
The dialogue was both entertaining and engaging, and the variety of attacks kept things exciting throughout. Each rule added an enjoyable challenge, though I got the 'platform' rule a bit too early on my first run. Overall, it’s a fantastic and thoroughly fun game!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
