You could have given me 100 guesses, I would have never expected anybody to make a game based on Zelda 2 for this jam, and considering how I didn't like that game, I found this game really good! Very much think the retro vibe helps it and the level up system was what kept me coming back, only think I feel like is missing is a transition from the end of the loop to the start, something as simple as a "exit to the overworld and tween back to the castle". Massive well done!
Zelda 2 meets Minit meets incremental game was what we were going for, glad the inspo came through. Agree about the loop end, is very sudden and simple now, I like the idea of tweening through the overworld (or maybe even a rewind effect of some kind). Thanks for the feedback!

Great idea, the art is amazing.
This game is so good! I love the open world, the skill trees are really well done, the game feels super polished, has a good length to it, I wish it was more but I'm already impressed by how much there is! The only really small thing to maybe make it better is to make the upgrades more balanced. Some seem much more powerful than others, but thats a minor thing compared to how good the game is! Really well done!
Thanks a lot, really nice to hear you were still having fun at the end! Definitely wanted/planned to have more content but ran out of time hence the very abrupt ending haha. And thanks for the feedback on the skill trees, definitely agree balancing in general could be improved a bit.
