Nice game! It was super satisfying to play, and the simplistic (yet effective) background music and graphics made it quite relaxing too! (BTW, if you have the time, it would be great if you could give some feedback on my dev team's game, thx :D)
I like the idea, but for some reason it was so choppy on my computer that I couldn't play it properly.
Thanks for the feedback. Something is off, since this game is pretty low tech and should run easily :-(
Were other web games on this jam choppy as well for you ? (at least those with fast motion, because otherwise you wouldn't be able to tell)
very cool concept! it was quite satisfying to play and the audio added to the relaxed vibe.
Sadly did very well not run on my computer even on different browsers? Not sure why! I got to try it on another computer and it was neat! Well done :)
Thanks for reporting this, and many thanks for trying so much to play my game. Was the other computer more powerful in some way ? or do you think it's unrelated ?
when you say "not run" is it that the game is laggy, or that you could not event get past the first screen (there is a known "focus" issue) ?
Thanks to the music, sounds, and smooth scrolling background, I was very relaxed while playing this game. It took me a second to get the hang of the controls, but once I did, the game became quite addicting! Maybe it's a skill issue, but I would've benefited from a trajectory indicator. I definitely think this game is for people with higher skills than I though, haha. My high score was 10 :)
Also, I think the simplistic art works very well for this game. Not all games have to have detailed art to feel polished. Just keep practicing!
Thanks for this detailed feedback. Unfortunately I had an annoying bug very late in the jam and I had to skip a very important phase : a second pass at game balancing !!! The game was designed to be quite short, but not so hard. I plan to tweak it post jam, because here it's really a shame :(
A bit more variety in obstacles would keep me grinding for high scores even longer, but I had a blast as is!
Cool idea! It was really fun and challenging
Very cool game ! Maybe a bit repetitive, but I wanted to play it until I got the highscore haha ! Your idea is good, and you did a great job !
Thanks ! I want to bet that this repetitive feeling can be removed not by adding more stuff but by balancing my game way better than it is now. Anyway I'll try later to do it properly, because too few playtesting went into this during the jam...
Very nice idea! I thought it was pretty fun, but hard (or I suck)! This would make a cool sort of hockey minigame or something, as well. Nice!
Amazing! You made such a polished game, based on one mechanic!
I really like how you get smaller when you get hurt.
Well done :D
This would make such a fun mobile game! Brilliant use of the theme, very well executed as well. Loved how the radius kept going smaller so you couldnt just button mash (I did score the most when i did though which goes to show much I suck otherwise lol). Well done!
One of the best games i have played. Simple, effective, perfect. Incredibly smooth experience. thanks for this :D
Hey, thanks ! You know what ? I went to check your game and I really loved it, something clicked for me when I played it. I just left a comment there.
(maybe we have similar tastes, lol)
I love this idea and the audio was relaxing.
SO MUCH FUN! I really enjoyed this, it is such a fun gameplay 'loop'. I could see myself playing this a lot more.
