Nice work, I love seeing unique abilities! I used antimicrox to give myself gamepad support, my brain did not like keyboard for this. The lava “trick” was great too. I wondered “is this special lava? Am I missing something” but since there’s nothing else to do, I didn’t stress about it. You have also really made me rethink what’s possible, I’m always struggling to get something playable until the last day but you did this in 2 days, maybe I need to rethink my approach.
Cute! Love seeing Godot games! Controls were good and the leg thing was a really cool idea.
Found a game-breaking bug, I was exploring looking for all the numbers and in the room after where I got the legs, I went back into that room and my character disappeared and I couldn't move.
Very solid for 2 days.
Ah that sucks. That happened because I forgot to link up the room transition correctly. Didn't really have time to get anyone to playtest, so it went by unnoticed, unfortunately can't fix it now. Thanks for playing nonetheless!
The main mechanic is implemented very well. I would have liked to see some utilization of its interactions with ceilings. Maybe if it was on a toggle instead of held and you had to set yourself to the right height for stuff?
Anyways, this game feels very solid and rewarding. Each point of progress was slightly surprising without making me feel dumb for running into them, which is a hard balance to get right. The controls are a little jittery but it never demanded so much from me that this became a problem.
Solid entry. The leg mechanic feels novel, though a bit difficult to control (would feel better on a gamepad with a button I think). Short and sweet with a bit of hunting around. Fun ending.
Man this was great! Really great backtracking. I felt so satisfied everytime I found I had new access to an area. Short and sweet.
LEG DAAAAAAYY!
Thanks for that! Fun little mechanic wrapped in a short but sweet package. I would've loved more music throughout the experience, but still enjoyed nonetheless.
Easily my favourite game of the jam. This was an experience and that ending was amazing!
The minimalist design is really stylish in a way, I love the vibe of this game along with the SFX and BGM. Nice controls and pretty deep meaning if you take the paint and the monster to another level. Also the ending is absolute cinema ✋😐🤚
Really great game, fantastic ending. music stopped playing at some points but other than that full marks really fun game. Well done
I also liked the green paint upgrade. Fun game!
Congrats on the lighthopping!
Very funni, I don't have much else to say this time tho x)
I giggled when I got the green paint. You know I usually critique power ups that serves only as keys, but THIS, THIS is an example of a "key to a door" upgrade done absolutely right xD
I also appreciate how you literally made us kill ourselves at some point instead of making an actual return route from the lava pit lol
From the moment i laid eyes open this wonderful game, i felt like my heart was reborn, anew into a new state of being, i was ascended ,jokes aside, really funny and humorus loved the game! its simple short and sweet ofc i loved the visuals of the ending, this is a perfect case of perfect scope for the time you had (very little) now i liked the bull, it seems like your rain world procedural animation intrest hasnt faded since last mvm!
Very minimal but I enjoyed it. I laughed at several of the little design gags and I loved the ending. Great work!
