A unique gameplay and great application of the theme. Quite difficult to get into :)

Just commenting to let people know that there is currently a game-breaking bug that I am not able to fix (it just needs two parentheses! just two!) which will make gameplay significantly harder than it is intended to be (you are SUPPOSED to have access to the Extend action, that's more or less necessary to win!). You're still welcome to like, look at it and get an idea of the vibe, and that feedback is appreciated, but without the game jam runner's permission to fix the bug the full experience is not there.

I'm super into the idea here, a little numbersy board game where you're a fungus in a apple or something 🦠

Unfortunately though, the UI and communication were a little opaque for me. I couldn't quite tell what I had selected, what the things I had selected were doing with the board/my fungus, or even that the buttons I was pressing were going through correctly (haptic feedback of like, a button changing color would have gone a long way here I think!) so I couldn't really engage with the game :((

I can see though that you had a clear, and super cool vision here, and I'd absolutely play an update of this with a more responsive UI!! I wanna be a mold >:v

I like the visuals on this. Quite a steep learning curve!
