Great Inspiration From Exit 8 And SCP Foundation - This Was Fun To See All The Anomalies, However Things Moved A Bit Slow. Gameplay Was Great Though.

Brilliant game with simple controls. It took some time for me to realise I could click on the quota tab to begin the game properly, from there it was pretty fun. Sunk a good amount of time into this game.

I was surprised at the number of items you were able to create within the timespan.  You did an amazing job on the game, and I was glad to see another inspection game in the jam.

What a fun game! It feels like something that could easily be expanded into a full game on its own. The gameplay loop is really enjoyable, and I had a great time examining each object and making sure they were safe.

Imagining this game with more nights and more story sounds like a dream if you continue to work on it. This is probably one of my favorite games from this game jam in terms of pure gameplay loop. The anomalies were fun to notice; some were harder to spot, and the one with the note warning not to look into the hallway (which I didn’t listen to, of course) was pretty scary. Cheers.

I had a lot of fun with this. I even kept playing for a while after I met the quota. Tons of variety with the anomalies kept we wanting to see more.

I liked the music, but I think it would be effective to fade it out while the door was open to add some tension, and to make it easier to listen for spooky noises.

Awesome entry!

Edit: I also wanted to add that I almost didn’t play the game because I couldn’t find the “Login” button for a bit. Definitely make that one super apparent.

What a creative idea! Talk about letting your imagination run wild. This was really spooky. I'm glad I got to try your game. All the best.

Very good job! The visual style and sounds perfectly complement the atmosphere. Most of all, I liked that all the anomalies are related to specific objects (usually, I don't like games of this genre, the fact that you need to thoroughly explore the locations). You made a great game!

Quite an enjoyable game! I like the spin on "anomalies" being that they are present in objects and not people or creatures. And I'm always a sucker for a good PSX horror game, good work!

My favorite part of this game is the aesthetic choices, from the font, textures and definitely the shader! The environment captures the paranoid setting well, I would like a bit more intention with the soundtrack and ambient noises to make it sound super creepy - it would be cool if there was an echo-ey element to amplify the style of the walls. The anomalous element is really cool, reminds me of exit 8 but in a totally new package.

I like the idea, and many anomalies were implemented in a cool way. Great game. Nice idea with the settings in the main menu.

This sounds exactly like the kind of game I’d love — but I can’t figure out how to start it!
I managed to play anomaly.mp3 on the monitor at the beginning, but… well, my English listening skills are really bad.
I can read English just fine, but listening is tough for me.
I tried my best to figure out how to make the objects appear, but I couldn’t do it...

Glad you got to check out the game! To put it simply, to have the objects appear in the game, you need to open up the computer and click on the "Today's Quota" tab. On that screen, click on the "Login" button to start the game! From there, you can probably figure out what to do, but if you're confused at any point, you can find tips on the bulletin board in the back of the room! Thank you so much, and I hope you enjoy the game :)

A brilliant game!

It reminds me of The Cabin Factory, but it's more lightweight and offers different fun elements.

I hope to see the official version in the future, and I will definitely buy it!

Interesting idea! The game really made me want to stay inside the room, I was too scared to step out and check because it made me feel genuinely unsafe. This game definitely builds paranoia through the consequences of accepting the anomalous package.

I really liked this, this was cool take on SCP. I could see this easily being expanded on in a bigger game with more ways to interact, the only issue I had was that in this jam game there are limited ways to check what makes something anomalous; you can really only look, and the conveyer is quite slow (with slightly jazzy music which I don't really feel fits the vibe). The note and camera jump scare were pretty good definitely some horror, and I managed to get perfect scores but I messed up the radio once cause I wasn't sure if hearing a breathing sound is something necessarily anomalous, especially since it can be interacted with like a normal radio.

This was really really good! The gameplay loop was simple yet fun and I loved the aesthetics, as PSX is my personal favorite horror style. The whole thing was really clever and it was actually really interesting to see what I would get next and what it might do. And I do love me a good T posing player model.

My only issue is the anomaly that had a bunch of spinning purple gems around it, as it made my game extremely laggy as it grew and eventually crashed it requiring me to restart.

Otherwise, super awesome game! One of my top picks for this Jam.

Oh my goodness, someone finally ran into the gem crash scenario 0.0. That was my biggest fear with that anomaly; the description of it mentions "exponential growth," and a couple of my friends thought that was just a joke. Reality was that I knew that if someone left their game on with the gems, they would literally keep growing forever. That was something that got left in due to time constraints, but I knew it was an issue regardless. I appreciate the kind words, and I'll be sure to cap the gem spawns in the future so crashes are not an issue!

Overall solid game. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Was not sure at first what was anomalistic or not but then it became decently evident.

Thanks for including a compendium so I could look back at all the things discovered... really needed in a game like this.

The UI was novel but very clear too!

I  Lol'd when I tried to change the settings.

One nitpick.. I wish there was some audio effect on the voice memo. It didn't give me the impression that the voice was coming through a radio or speaker. (Not sure if its eq'ing out the highs and lows leaving the middle in).

Enjoyed it and it was cool design, anomalies were interesting and sometimes surprising :) skull with gems and tall man are my favorite! :)

Fun game, and some of the anomalies made me jump. I personally haven't played much of the anomaly spotting type genre but it reminded me of that one part from Miside or whatever that game game was called.  I liked how it was difficult to tell what items were anomalies because some of the benign items were creepy or strange. I'm not sure if it was scripted this way but my first item was a teddy and my second item was a skull and i was like bro. lol. I'm not sure how saturated the genre is, but I could easily see this being expanded out with story elements and gameplay mix-ups into something pretty interesting.  As is, I think the pace of the game is a bit slow, and while it worked, i did feel eventually feel the tension start to suck out waiting for the conveyers and stuff. I stopped playing after i encountered an anomaly that killed me instantly during overtime. still, great submission!

This was an enjoyable anomaly game, I jumped a little at some of the aggressive anomalies. It was fun looking for anything wrong while also being cautious and quick as to not be killed, this is pretty fun and very creative so props!
