I liked the dashing! It was a bit difficult to get the hang of the controls at first, but I still liked it overall:).

Wonderful experience. Like if Celeste was a nature documentary. The controls were Crisp with a capital C. Loved them. The effects when you jump and dash, the sfx, the feedback. All wonderful.

The storytelling was excellent as well. Great job! Loved it to death . <3

Dang, this game was made super well! Love the music too!

Can't believe this is your first jam, the presentation is sooo good, love the art and music!

The movement is also pretty polished, very Celeste meets Jump King. Might be personal preference, but I kinda wish the jump was bound to the spacebar instead of the up arrow (found myself messing up wall jumps because I'd accidentally press the wrong arrow lol)

I did find the soft lock bug during my playthrough, but the rest of the game is solid

I lvoe the gameplay! it feeel kinda like celeste in a way? the music and the movement are just kind of similar. Not in a bad way though! truly all the good things.

i really loved the art and the sfx, and (not to sound like a broken record) but the music. all of it really help with the overall atmosphere! really really good :33

ps. i think theres something with the dead kings interact box? it feels a little large :3

Cool platformer! The character model is cool!

Great game! The music and platforming were great, and the difficulty was well-balanced. However, as your game description points out, I got softlocked at the first part of the level, forcing me to restart.

10/10, absolutely my type of game, my type of art, i love every single aspect of it, honestly i just want more.
I think you just got the first place on my list, its really amazing. Great job, and its your first game jam as well. im just speechless. please go and make this into a ful game and i will definitely buy it

Not sure if you have already but feel free to go and play my game as well, its also a "rage" game, but i gotta admit its not as good as yours lol. I would love to hear your thoughts

This is actually really fun, although it is a rage game, I didn't found it too unreasonable, the spikes are not overly punishing and the artstyle is really pretty! Great work!

The music is great and really helps with the atmosphere :D I also love the visuals! I also like how the spikes are very forgiving (most of the time). I like how they don't send you all the way back to a checkpoint, but only knock you back. The controls also feel very good, and correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe you've added coyote time, which is amazing, but you haven't added jump buffering. I'm not really sure, because I always find it hard to test these things. This, (definitely if you aren't paying attention to it), does not affect the gameplay at all, it's just a tiny thing I like to add to make the gameplay a tad smoother :)

The graphics of this game are very clean and beautiful! The controls felt really responsive too, great job!

Fantastic game. Level design is especially great, and the art is really nice. The controls are very responsive (although personally I would prefer Spacebar for jump, because my brain just doesn't like Up as jump apparently, lol). You've done an amazing job. Well done.

gives serious getting over it vibes but with more player control and less rng i love it also great style :)

Wow, amazing game, it is challenging but also fun, loved the mechanics and the art is beautiful, the dash is great and I like the camera shake effect when you hit a wall with your dash, it adds life to the game,
Great job, I had a lot of fun playing it!

OH MY GOD! I was NOT expecting such quality!

The controls are great , the art is beautiful , and the lore even though simple gives the game world life.

The only downsides I can think are a bug that i encountered and that the music is too sad (I know its supposed to be sad because the game takes place in a falling kingdom or whatever but still its kinda too much ).

Best game I played in this jam so far!

I find it kinda hard to believe that you are a Newbie, How long have you been game deving?

Great controls and fluid movement, I like how the game is foddian in it's level design, not it's controls. I suck at it, but it's still great! I'm not sure how well the background music fits here, but nonetheless this is great!

If you're up for it, I'd also really appreciate it if I could get your feedback on my entry!

So fun, the controls are so smooth, the music is so fitting. I also really liked how taking damage works. Great job!
