I've always enjoyed making small compilers for my own programming languages and also small games, so I'm combining the two. The challenge is to make your own programming language and then use that language to make a game.
This started as a personal project for the upcoming holiday break, but a colleague thought others would enjoy it too. After being front paged on Hacker News, we received 20,000 views! December 14-20. There will be prizes :)
