Inevitable Cry, I just played your game, Get dressed!, and honestly, it's definently something in the jam, but I do have some mixed feelings about this game. While I do like the core concept of the game, plain and simple dress-up, and also that you have to choose the right outfit to wear for the fairy in under 20 seconds, for one, there's no music or even sound effects, and honestly, a little calming music would fit the game perfectly. Two, if I chose the correct clothing as the game told me to, most of the time, I always get "Oh no! Let's try again!", and it was bugging me a little bit. 3. The game's artstyle is definently not particularly bad, but it can also be creepy and off-putting, considering that the background is a live-action photo of daisies (or whatever the flowers are), and what we have is a slightly distorting-looking fairy, plus some clothes on the right. Also, I noticed that you used AI for the coding department, and in my personal opinion, I don't particularly care as long as the visual department wasn't AI-generated. Overall, really nice game and I enjoyed my time nonetheless, and hope you enjoyed my feedback and critique about the game! 2.75/5 stars: ⭐⭐🌖
Also, I noticed on YouTube that you're going to be playing a bunch of 20 Second Game Jam 2025 entries, and honestly, I'm pretty excited about that, and if you could play my game, Duckie 'n' Egg, and give feedback, I would be very appreciative of you for doing so. Take care, Inevitable Cry! 🧚👚
Hi! Thank you for the honest feedback, i appreciate it! Mostly of all that issues - no music, photo as a background is because i couldn't make it in time. I'm planning to improve it in future. Could you please show me screenshots with correct clothing and "Oh no! Let's try again!"? It will help a lot Also i think slightly distorting-looking fairy is my favorite wording now haha
This is so much fun and I love that the items and conditions are randomized! This is super great and it took me a couple of tries to figure it out, but my horrible memory does not serve me well at times xD
This is a simple yet effective and well designed game. For a first one you can be very proud of you, your game loop is interesting and well implemented.
I had a little issue with the UI: I did confuse the retry and ready buttons a couple of times. Maybe you could make the restart button look more "secondary" or even just disable it until the player actually lose.
Ohhh... I see. I think the option of looking more secondary is the right one. I don't want to still from player the opportunity to retry from any second haha Thank you for feedback, i totally need more time for working with UI
Good job! I enjoyed the game. A good challenge, nicely done and good artwork too. If you wanted to push it a bit further, you could add some music and sound effects. On my screen, the game is in the top left quarter of itch's game area and it would give a little better experience if it filled the whole space.
hi, same "game in the corner" issue here but when i zoom out, more of the game fits in the viewport. i sometimes/rarely see the same in other godot games but most fit perfectly so you may ask fellow godot users how to set things up.
otherwise, nice concept and a suggestion to add a lamp that we can click to take another look at the clothing for a second. of course, clicking the lamp would cost us 5 seconds (maybe 10?) >)

Amazing job! :)
Thank you! I was thinking if the time for the lights is too short or not, because i couldn't tell on the end of the jam, glad you make it! haha

Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoy this!
I decided to do the music stuff if i will have time and strength, so i ended up without it.
That's actually strange, that it's look like that for you, can you show me this?
