feels real nice! as someone who sucks it would be nice to have a bit more invincibility after you get hit 😅

I like controlling a bullet hell game with the mouse. Unfortunately, after realizing the levels were copy-pastes of each other in terms of bullet placement, pattern and timing, the appeal wore off. Put a bit more variation in the levels and you've got a cool bullet hell game. As it is, it's a good start.

Developer

Thanks, it's not actually copy-paste. The patterns have small variations from season to season, and which wave in each season gets which pattern is purely random, but i see why most people think that

Same here. Like the approach for the bullet hell. Mouse is so easy to control. I like the easy stages and color transition when you switch the stages.  Could tell it will be a lot of fun for it.

As a bullet hell fan, I really enjoyed your approach to the genre! The concept I feel was well executed and even if there could be more variety in terms of the levels, it was still satisfying moving the butterfly around while dodging bullets.

I love bullet hell games and this was definitely up my alley but my main complaint is that it was too easy. The winter stage was a nice difficulty but the other ones were all quite easy. The overall presentation is great, very clean and polished

THIS GAME IS SLICK

Developer

Thank you! :)

Controls are really well implemented. Easy to understand and buttery smooth. Great game!

Neat artwork and sound. but I found it a bit too easy since the enemies would always appear at the same location and the petal patterns would be the same. so you only need to find the “sweet spot” and just wait to the boss.

but overall a good contribution. well done!

Nicely put together and fun game. Crisp, appealing sprites and animation. I especially liked how the butterfly moved, which made it a shame that the best strategy was basically to sit in one spot! Each level had some dead spots that never got any projectiles. Some randomness or player targetting could help with that.

The UI and game loop polish is there. Overall this is a fun game done well.

The gameplay is really fun, and the visuals — while simple — are very pleasing to the eye. The difficulty feels well-balanced, not too hard and not too easy, which makes the experience enjoyable throughout. Adding a bit more variety, like collectibles or extra mechanics, could make it even more engaging, but as it is, the game already feels polished and complete. Congratulations on a great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Happy you enjoyed the balance and visuals. More variety is definitely something I’d like to add in the future!

Great game! I loved the different stages. After a while and a few deaths, it does get a bit repetitive—maybe shortening each stage a little would help.Really nice ideas executed well: the different patterns, having each flower appear one at a time, the patterns themselves, the petals decreasing to show remaining shots, and the colors all looked great.

By the final stage my eyes were already hurting, and I died twice on the boss before I managed to beat it, but really great game overall!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it. I’ll keep the stage length and repetitiveness in mind for improvements!

Let me start off by saying the gameplay is very fun. Moving the little butterfly around with your mouse feels great. It does get repetitive after a while though, and I found it you can cheese the game by just hiding in the corner and barely moving, though that does take all the fun out of it so why anyone ever do that. Also, about halfway through the summer stage my mouse cursor just kinda disappeared, which actually made it more fun for a bit? I think it's because the technical issue on my end actually changed the gameplay a bit and broke up the repetitiveness, so that's one idea lmao. I think a bit more player agency would be nice, once again for breaking up the gameplay loop.

Putting all those aside, I enjoyed the different stages and I have to say Spring is definitely my favourite. I think the music and the colours just create this beauty. Great job!

Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback! I agree with your points :) I guess I’ll experiment a bit with cursorless gameplay now. More variety is definitely planned!

THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTELY BEATIFUL! I like it a lot. The colors and the aesthetics of the game are really good. The bullets patterns are not hard to dodge but also pretty unexpected. I really love your work!

Developer

Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed it!

I have a feeling this will win the "best game page" prize. Gameplay is pretty standard bullet hell but you don't shoot back. The music and art is great. Wish there were different enemy types.

Developer

Thanks! I left out shooting on purpose, wanted the flowers to wither rather than be destroyed

A nice, simple, and fun game! I like the music and visuals a lot. Although the gameplay was fun and the delay on the butterfly made things a bit difficult, because of the few bullet pattern and just one bullet type i was able to find some "sweet spot" on some of the level where you couldn't get hit at all. An interesting approach tackle to this problem would be "forcing" the player to move around. Maybe adding some types of rhythm elements like Osu! would be interesting. Overall a fantastic execution on a simple game, would love to see some more variation in gameplay!

Developer

Thanks a lot!  Glad you liked it. And yeah, more bullet types + ways to keep the player moving are definitely on my list for the post jam version. love the rhythm idea!

Neat stuff! The visual spectacle of the whole thing is very impressive, you nailed what makes bullet hell games so stunning to look at! Like others have said, a bit more variety in bullet patterns/types would have gone a long way.

Developer

Appreciate it! Happy the visuals landed. More bullet types are on my todo list for the post jam version :)

Really nice! Simple concept but which goes a reaaaally long way with a good execution. Would love to see some more variety bullet-wise, but love pretty much everything else about it :)

Thanks a lot!  Really glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, more bullet variety is definitely something I’d like to add in the post jam version!

Nice bullet hell game! Good job xD

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

Ill always enjoy a bullet hell game and the colours and music are great, the only thing i found a little frustrating is that as the butterfly is chasing the mouse it sometimes felt a little unfair if i got hit even though my mouse was out of the way, but maybe thats a difficulty curve to get over as the player! :)

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback! I made the butterfly movement a bit slower on purpose, since following the mouse 1:1 felt way too easy. But I really appreciate your thoughts on it, it’s super helpful!

what is that ?? it may look simple but its so much fun >//<  ?? i can play this hours whattt ,   and the visuals are stunning ! 10/10

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it that much :)
