Sacrificing your health for the sake of the puzzle is an awesome yet risky strategy that fits the theme perfectly. The platform is nice, but the jumps are very hard. You'll get the hang of it though!

Very cool game, really loved the mechanic and how it fit with the theme. There were some minor things I think could be improved, like when I don't have enough lives, it could auto reset or give me an option to go back to the checkpoint, and some checkpoints were before lots of walls, so I had to wait every time. Even so, I really enjoyed playing, well done :)

I think it's so unique how the player has to take damage to move farther, really interesting concept! I thought the character movement was very responsive too. Nice work!

It was a bit hard to work with the controls at first but as I got the hang of it the platformer was pretty fun, I like all the new unique ideas that I don't see often in other platformers, nice game!

Nice work, the controls are pretty good although a bit too fiddly for the jump-dash, probably gets easier over time though.

very challenging, I love your take on the theme of taking damage to clear the levels. Its a good level of difficulty with a variety of ways shown off of how the mechanic can be used, the movement has a pretty smooth feel to it after getting used to it

The dash jump dash bit is the one part I thought was a little too precise,  and became a bit annoying after a while. I must of been stuck on it for 10-15 minutes :') 

 I think the glass section at the end is my favourite - I thought at first it was going to be an annoying random multichoice section but the way you have to navigate to the parts with the right number of hearts is very clever puzzle

Yeah, it seems like the jump dash part can be somewhat frustrating to people. Having played the game from the first day with the mechanic, I didn’t think about it that much. Something to keep in mind for me next time.
