Great game, very frantic and I couldn't last for long without missing a biscuit. It's probably just the right amount of time/difficulty level for a game jam entry though. Well done for making a fun and appealing submission.

The game and controls are very intuitive, and the core mechanics are fun enough to hook you in. I like the different animals having their own features! Also I tried to cheat by raising my mouse sensitive so I could get cookies quicker but I kept running into cats so the game is actually balanced pretty well lol
And the graphics are very cute :)

Very easy to understand and play. The speed/pacing felt fair and reasonable. I like that there are various animals each with a different function. I also like that there is visual and audio feedback for pretty much everything. Overall a nice game!

Kinda makes me nostalgic for the games that came with windows 95, or like something I might’ve made with Klik & Play back in the day. Honestly surprised by how fun it was once I realized I didn’t need to fear the raccoon or the dog. Some balance and mixing was not so great, and I’m not sure why it asked me to install something called directplay but I chose not to. Anyway, cute little idea, really great basic gameplay! :)
Thank you for your honest review. much appreciated. I did not know about directplay. but thanks for letting me know, but i think its because i used GM 8.1 yes old engine. Im moving into GM studio. Ive looked at unity and others but they are quite difficult to pick up.
I myself ran into many varying situations when it came to running windows game submissions. Why I decided next time to work on a web based submission instead. Lol, glad you figured out the raccoon and dog :) In the future, I will have on screen instructions instead. We learn through such feed back. Very enjoyable! I played quite a few rounds. It would be cool if there was more incentive to decide in what you're risking for, perhaps adding another type of biscuit that doesn't need to be collected but gives you more points. Well done, I would play again.
Yes, I thought about that. Like different biscuits for different levels worth more points, make it progressively harder as well; but decided to keep it basic. But thanks :) glad you enjoyed playing. Yeah, i'm happy to hear from users that it has replayability. I wish I could have added a global scoreboard to it. ... Love the simplicity of it. Had an issue with the pixelated artwork, it's just a pet peeve of mine, but other than that the gameplay itself is solid and fun. Well done!

Very enjoyable game - has just a few simple rules and this simplicity works great! The most satisfying part is when you get the dog or racoon and clear the whole board. I like the sounds and minimalistic graphics - maybe some background would be a nice addition :)

Simple and fun. I didn't read the instructions at first so I thought you should avoid the racoon because they steal your food. But they add the points up so they actually helped lol. Overall, well made game. Not too complicated. Nice work.

This game is super addictive and engaging!
I had to stop myself, otherwise I would have kept going nonstop for a long time.
I think there is room for visuals improvements, but it works also minimalist like that.

Haven't seen a game like this in a long time! The art and music were very cool and added to that old-school and lighthearted vibe. The game was simple and yet addictive and kept making me want to rack up higher scores.

A very simple, cute, and funny game) Quite addictive actually)) I like how the character interaction system is designed, no joke) Elephants really are afraid of mice, and dogs chase cats) The visuals could be polished a bit more, but I’m sure the author is already aware of that.. The important thing is that the core mechanic is engaging) Great game!
