I enjoyed this game. One of the most original games I've seen in this jam. And hilarious too. I tried almost all the branches and eventually got a date. One small change I would recommend is adding the ability to look around completely. Please check out my submission to the jam.

Hi, sorry I never saw you reply until now. I actually made the dialogue system myself along with a custom node based editor. Took me a good day or two but worked well enough. You can contact me through the discord link in my GitHub profile (https://github.com/thejoeman23), I'd be happy to explain how it works in more detail.
The concept is pretty unique from what I've played in the jam so far and it's impressive how many voice lines you were able to fit in! With so many branching options, I found myself forgetting which routes I'd already tried so you may want to add some indicator showing which options you've already chosen and whether you've already completed everything under a given dialog tree. Other than that, it was really funny!

really simple game but i thought the dialogues and voice acting were super fun (big up to the diva DJing)
i've seen that it was already mentionned but i was part of the endlessly walking off the map and ending up in a black void crew so i had to restart the game multiple times because i couldn’t go back BUT then i noticed it wouldn't happen anymore when i let go of my (strong and muscular) grip on the control keys during interactions
i also managed to get a date with the girl dressed in black but the losing sound played so i wasn’t sure if it was the “good” ending? i retried many times but couldn’t manage to bag any other baddie, so i guess..
Glad you could rizz up the only rizzable girl there. Yeah we didnt have time to add a good sound effect for getting the date, but just imagine that one "yay" sound effect where its the same guy saying yay layered multiple times.
I like it! I am unable to get a date in real life, so.. this game was hard! Really fun though. There are some bugs where you keep gliding into the unknown when starting to talk with someone, but it is really cool appart from that!

That girl in blue in the corner is basically me. Also, you can just walk away from the party and get lost in an empty void, which I think is funny.

This game is very fun. It's reminding me of my embaressing attempts at "rizzing" up girls lmfao. The voiceovers is veryy funny and made the game more engaging

Pretty Fun Experience! The atmosphere with the screen effect is great, and the voice is really funny.
But I think having some skip dialogue would be great for trying every route.
(Also, there is a bug when you walk and then talk; you walk straight to the void, not game-breaking though.)
Yeah, I cant update it but I have since fixed the walking bug and UI isnt affected by vfx anymore. Thanks for trying the game out!
The idea was intriguing, but I couldn't imagine it. It was funny to be rejected in a game.
Guess my 'rizz' is as bad in game and IRL 🥺 I love the voice acting and the art style!!
The only thing I'd recommend is fixing the dialogue choices, the graphics there feel really cheap compared to the rest of the game. Otherwise great job! 🤗

So I guess I must just have 'rizz' because I managed to beat this game and get a date on my third attempt (it is possible, people!). Anyways, absolutely laughed my head off at the audio test and was quite impressed with the different dialogue branches. Very enjoyable game, well done!

Hahaha, loved it! The voice acting is just so funny, and the answer to “how much do you weigh” killed me! Only negative point: the girls scared me, so it was hard to play… but I still managed to get rejected by every single one - 10/10
