How does the game fit the theme?
Entire personnel of Facility 23 were cognitively frozen, present, but unable to think anything more complex than a greeting. You are sent to investigate, given your unique neural resistance.
B.I.S.C.U.I.T., a cognitive enhancement wafer, is believe to be the cause.
Would you do as you're told and contain the anomaly... or risk it all for something much greater?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made everything from scratch.

I really liked your game! The art style was really interesting and the story was nice. As others have mentioned the moving platforms are annoying because the player does not inherit their velocity. A bug I have found that makes the platforming practically trivial is if you dash while looking up, you gain a LOT of vertical velocity, making it very easy to clear gaps and jump over obstacles (if you try to climb on the building with this trick you get stuck in the mesh geometry, so don't try that). Again great game overall, good job!
A fun 3d platformer game with stunning visuals!
The art and color pallette is good but the unlit material on the platforms makes it hard to gauge the distance. Also, adding audio to the footsteps and jump and landing would go a long way to make player input feel more tactile and effective. I see others already commented on the moving platform issue. But I really like the aesthetic you picked for your game, good choice.
I agree movement audio would go a long way, Thank you for feedback!
Really liked the game the visuals are great and the story is interesting too unfortunately I suck at platforming so I didn’t get far… but seems like a good game :)
Love the art style, it feels very airy! I have a few tips for the gameplay. A shadow underneath the player would better show where you land, and the moving platforms do not seem to stick to the player. In Godot, there is a "moving platform" setting in the Characterbody3d node, I think.
Great game for this period of time! Good job!
Thank you for the feedback!
I didn't know about this option, will use it next time, and a shadow would definitely help with the platforming.
Very cool. I really love the look of the game. I like the challenging parkour as well, and how the pacing between text and gameplay feels.
nice game
“Think no thoughts beyond this point.”
Finally my time to shine.
It was a little difficult to tell the difference between the top of a platform and the side of it, but I think the style still worked well and it didn’t detract from the gameplay. The moving platforms were a bit slippery. I think I got the bad ending.
I liked how you mixed the jam's theme with a parkour game. The idea behind it is impressive! I would recommend it.
I love the SCP universe and this fits right in.
Great job creating the fitting story and atmosphere.
I loved it.
Thank you! I love the SCP universe as well.
That was a lot of reading! But once I was 3d running it was enjoyable. I found the first jumping a little difficult, even though the game mechanics are just like my game. Perhaps the mouse look and speed differences between your game and mine made it hard for me to solve that first jump over the water level of your game. But cool vibe as stated below and scary name. I had to look it up to figure out what that was when I first saw it: Strychnine is a highly toxic, odorless, and colorless crystalline alkaloid used primarily as a pesticide.
Thank you for the feedback, yeah Strychnine's an aptronym, it matches her personality.
I played your game, it's quite different in gravity physics and aesthetics, but a lot of fun!
Had to look up 'aptronym' too! thanks
The vibes are so cool. I'd love for it to have some more little sounds.
The world building and aesthetic really stand out here! I am terrible at platforming, so this was tough for me but really cool all around!
Hi! I adore the whole world building around the game! It feels very complex and engaging! Your writing is also very good! However - the platforming was a bit harsh. So you could call me a speedrunner - because I used a tip in the previous comments :D
I really love the story and visual easthetic and colors but it was hard for me I tried so many times couldn't pass moving platforms xd
thank you, I feel like a visual story novel would've been better than a platformer tbh, I myself had a hard time with it
Liked the story and the simple art! I found out an exploit -- you can just look up and dash in the air, making the game too esay -- but i believe that the focal point was the story, regardless, love it!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
the commander can simply disobey physics at her will, hehe
Neat story idea, especially in the age of AI that is doing more and more skeptical things. I found the platforming to be rather frustrating, likely because the art/rendering made it hard to see the collision boxes of the platforms. It was much easier to just dash up at an angle and bypass a lot of the jumps. Usually moving platforms carry the player along, but the player slid right off. Interesting idea. Needs refinement.
thanks for playing! yep the AI theme is definitely what i was going for
the platforming issues seem to be a common feedback, along with the clarity/physics, noted for sure
appreciate the honest feedback, helps a lot for my next project
Loved the concept and the art (although sometimes there were issues with clarity) and stuff, but could not for the life of me get that one 3rd jump ( I am horrendous at 3d platformers, especially first person )
I saw the comment about the vertical dash bug and had to use that.
other than all that, was still p neat!
mhm that air dash is a speedrunner's tech... i decided now
thank you for playing & feedback!
Completed(?) the game under the "eliminate the anomaly" path. Visually this game is amazing, though some effects when dashing would be nice.
Unfortunately I'm not a fan of first person platformers so I struggled on the 3rd jump for a while. Luckily for me and unluckily for my integrity, there seems to be a bug where if you airdash while looking straight up you'll be sent quite high, letting you skip some obstacles rather easily. I assume this isn't intentional but it's quite funny and let me actually beat the game.
One area I'd definitely improve upon is the moving platforms, where the player doesn't move with them while standing on them.
thank you for the thoughtful feedback! I agree.
i personally prefer the other ending tho hehe
please do rate it if you haven't already, thanks again
mannn now i gotta play it again hang on a minute
oh by the way if you spam left click during the elevator scene at the end the floor display glitches out and displays like --7820 or something (i didn't manage to read it exactly)
oh yeah that displays -??RU¿-N, i guess i made it too fast to see
oh nice i didn't realise it was deliberate lmao makes sense tho
I actually wrote a platformer for my submission but I too struggled on the 3rd jump here. I'll go back and use the 'look to the sky' exploit to try and get further on this game and see some more of that cool vibe/room graphics style. https://itch.freezing.top/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3842322
