first off, i luv the art... it speaks to my crowful soul π
i see where ur going with this, and id say this has potential if developed further
Wasn't able to get the exe version to work on my system so I can only comment on the sandbox mode, which felt a little lacking. The art style is lovely. I seem to have killed a mouse after it ate a seed and crashed the game.
Really liked the art style and cozy vibes! I had a bit of trouble getting the left vs. right click to work smoothly on my trackpad. Definitely a solid foundation here for a farming game!
I could only play the sandbox version with a trackpad this time (sorry!), but I have some good things to say about this game! The art style is pretty cute, and the UI also is very well made. I did have some difficulty with controls, not completely because of my own limitations, but because the instructions only covered movements and how to use tools. Making a full farming game is a challenge, so I'd be very curious to see where this one goes in the future.
Very cool art style, though the controls gave me some grief and the music loop was a little too short or repetitive for me. After initially picking up the hoe, I somehow lost it on my first play through and I wasn't able to progress, too. After I restarted, I was able to get my planting going and eventually finished the game! I think you've got some cool systems here, and I'd love to see y'all fully flesh them out and build towards something bigger. Thanks for making and sharing your game!
Very cute visually and I love the art style. Kind gives me similar vibes to a game called Don't Starve, while having the theme of Stardew Valley (two of my favorite games). The controls felt a little odd at first, but that's just because I was using a trackpad. I also really enjoyed the design of the main character and the little mice, although they kept eating the few seeds I had to my name :( I played on the browser version since I am on a Mac at work, but I have read that the download has many more features and a tutorial. I would love to see more of that in the browser/sandbox as well! Overall, very comfy game with a lovely art style :) Job well done and congrats on getting it submitted! Thanks for sharing :)
nice game! really enjoyed the visuals and it felt pretty intuitive to play. i will say that i found it a bit strange that I could drop items via left click to the other side of the farm. I found myself frequently misplacing items, especially the seeds which are pretty small on screen. Other than that, great submission! :)
Really nice game! Because I use a mousepad, the gameplay was difficult for me, but the game itself seems to function fine. The characters and style are really cute and I loved the music! I would love to see what more you do with this game!
This look like the start of something great, the art is wonderful. It would be nice to have some music and extra SFX to add some more atmosphere to it though.
Sadly, I didn't get very far. My first playthrough I got seeds from clearing the first weed, planted them, then watched as the mouse stole the seeds whilst I fetched water. I then to my surprise murdered the mouse, retrieving the seeds, but then as i went to refill the watering can, somehow lost it and was unable to continue. This is the main problem for me, the controls feel like they are back to front, using an item feels like the primary action, so in my mind should be mapped to left click being the primary button, with dropping the item being a secondary action, that should be mapped to the right click. I was constantly fighting my own muscle memory.
My second playthrough was also cut short as the mouse once again meet its demise swiftly, but seemed to spawn what looked like a packet of seeds, unfortunately it was located outside of the fence to the left of the level, and I couldn't reach it.
Nice idea though, and some great potential. Good work
thanks for your feedback . The music works if you play the downloaded version . It is sometimes spotty on html . :( . New seeds do spawn every day if you sleep at the shack . Thanks again for playing !
Ah ok! I'll try to get back to play again at some point. Thanks for the tip.
I loved the look of the game, and the feel of it. I only played the sandbox because I'm on a Mac, but I still enjoyed it.
Nice submission. I hope you keep working on it.

I really like where this is going! Iβm a big fan of farm/Stardew-style games, so this grabbed me right away. The art style is super charming and actually feels pretty unique; it gave me a tiny bit of a Donβt Starve vibe in a good way. I also accidentally dropped the water jug in the well π Looking forward to seeing where you take the full version!
haha yea I need to add checks for that... rip. BeCool3000 will be an npc in game just you watch.
It seems so pretty, I try it later!
PLEASE TELL THE MICE I AM SO SORRY. Started with the nice sandbox before downloading, cute stuff! Took a bit to get used to the controls but after getting the hang of it I had a great time. Thanks for sharing :)
This game is so cute! I love the main characters design and the ui has a very cozy vibe that's consistent with the art style of the game assets! my only problem is i'm not very sure where and when to use the tools...but overall great job!
The downloaded version has step by step. Sorry the sandbox didn't have as many tutorials. I started to run out of time. Thank you for playing what you did! Your feedback is valuable!
I see! Still great job :)
