Congrats! what a nice game.

LOL soooouuuper cutscene. I love the rabbits. Nice clean and comfy match 3 game. :)  .... ok gotta go I got some soup on...

Thank you for your kind words! I relayed your comment to the voice actor :)

Thanks for the feedback ideas! Yeah me and hiccup the other programmer kind of tag teamed it an we where almost working on it 24hrs a day sometimes haha. We got a ton of work in to keep up with the artists and audio ppl. It was a blast to work with our team. By the end it was pretty tight teamwork!

You are no alone, we did find that bug too. Right now there is a workaround, if you can't open the peppermint you can trow away that packet and the next one should open.

I liked the train atmosphere.  What a cozy village. cool.

cool, I liked it. Haven't played that kind of game in many years. Nice to see a cat in there serving coffee eheh.

hahah The Turkey's SFX are so menacing.

thanks! our team really likes your game too

got to day 22 unlocked mushrooms, kinda lost steam. Very well done the math part of it and the just right positioning of the prices, kept me going. Chill music and atomos

The song is genius. You included an actual bat not another generic vampire. That is fun.

oh yeah, this is a good concept. The SFX were really good. The only thing that would have made it perfect really is if you don't reset the boss HP every time you get hit by a leaf. For a jam I think just make it easier like just slow down every time you get hit by a leaf. Maybe show the fade out of dying, but let the player keep playing until the boss dies and then show the ending. Maybe focus on that like show the ending even for a jam. Overall great job though, very good!

oh ok, I did see the warmth happening. I thought that was cool with the lighting. I just maybe didn't realize it was part of a quest, it's probably just me some times I skip dialog or it's hard to pay attention to details that are given. I did get the acorns, most of them I started looking for the hedgehog, then went bottom left to the mushrooms and actually I really was having fun jumping on the mushrooms and the SFX, but I got hung up on one of the holes, and I couldn't move out of it. So it broke the run. I missed the hedgehog, now I'm intrigued. :)

Wow nice! I'm not sure if I was mining for gold or making breakfast. I love the beat of the music and it's so cool getting some international flavors!

oh rad i love this concept for a clicker, it has interactions too, very nice! Unfortunately I couldn't collect the acorns even after unlocking 3 capacity I couldn't spend them or something? maybe i will try again later.

i really like the cutscene it's touching in a hilarious way, and it's based on reality? lol. I really want to try it, but i have come back several times and I still can't get any sound!? Is this just me? I wish i could give a full review.

very cool intro, topps. It really set a nice tone and the poetic vibe I really dug it. Scavenger hunt then ensued...

Super cute! I love the running sound omg. Then i had to bonk boxes with my head like lara croft. I really enjoyed the crash badicoot style run too, the difficulty was just hard enough once i figured out the controls. sweet little game.

nice 3/4 jam on the music!
I liked your game, made me want some soup too. I also kept having trouble with the bread and getting the topping to work. Nice, work, we had to make similar recipe systems on our game too. I know how challenging it can be and you guys did good, you have a lot more toppings than ours!

this would make a good alarm clock!

Nice comfy little platformer, he must be comfortable in nature with no clothes on lol. I think i only died once, and the music was chill too.

really nice game! I love the core concept and the pumpkin puzzles, they where just hard enough. The music is great and fits the vibe really well, and the little story with Maple kept me motivated to finish. All around, really well done!

yippee! I love your guys take on this genre ;)

I love the croaks idea, my fav was to set the drum+bass+shaker and then I went fishing and chilled.

I enjoyed putting the recipes together.
Everything worked really well, and it felt great once I got into the flow. I love the little 3D kitchen and level, it’s super cozy, and the fireplace is such a nice touch. Our jam game is actually kind of similar but in 2D, so it was extra fun seeing this take in 3D. The ghost theme isn’t totally my personal cup of tea, but the core mechanics are really fun and satisfying. Nice work!

I love the parallax effect with the water in the foreground it gave me a bit of a Kingdom Two Crowns feel, but more freedom and sandbox like. Turning that into a game about rebuilding bird habitats is such a unique twist, too.

I was also curious about the bird sounds. are the different calls tied to the specific species you unlock? if not i could really imagine hearing a really nice sound design based on bird calls. Overall, this was super calming and charming to play. Great job thanks for sharing your hard work!

i hope you don't mind me sharing a tool that I have really been using a lot lately and it's free. It works really well for calibrating loudness. Once I started getting into working with audio in games I found it very useful. https://youlean.co/download-youlean-loudness-meter/
It's actually a very interesting subject getting into LUFS and industry standards n stuff.

I really like the core concept here, having the music crescendo and add layers as the numbers go up is such a cool idea. It does get a bit tedious and a little dizzying at times, but it’s a great foundation and I could totally see this approach paired with more expansive visuals in the future.

The simplicity of this version is also really charming, though. The ramp-up hit a bit of a plateau for me; maybe speeding it up a little or adding some extra interaction beyond just waiting for the sap to rise (like a small click mechanic or mini-action) could help keep the engagement up. Overall, really neat idea and execution!

Ahaha, I love this game, this feels really unique to me. Thanks for making it! From an audio perspective the only tiny nitpick is that the music could be calibrated a bit lower, or at least have a working music volume slider. Other than that, this one left me smiling. I really appreciate the vibe and the humor, it’s just cool and definitely not just another generic clicker. (and they actually visually use the right yarn! Love it!)

I really like where this is going! I’m a big fan of farm/Stardew-style games, so this grabbed me right away. The art style is super charming and actually feels pretty unique; it gave me a tiny bit of a Don’t Starve vibe in a good way. I also accidentally dropped the water jug in the well 😂 Looking forward to seeing where you take the full version!

Love the parallax effects, and the animation is really nice. The way the cat rolls along like a little furball is super charming, and the whole delivery theme works really well.

The only thing that didn’t fully click for me personally is the witch/Halloween setting. I usually bounce off that kind of theme in general, so that’s definitely a taste thing on my side rather than anything you did “wrong.” The writing and presentation are strong, though, and I’d love to see what your team does with a less traditional setting too, because your art and vibes are clearly great.

The color scheme is right on point. I like the concept of using different triangle shapes for tetris. It works pretty good! I like the patterns it makes with the colors, kind of modern artsy. I lost after getting 400 points. I like the music tracks, I just wish there where more variety or a way to turn them down and just hear the SFX, the repetitiveness of the music made me want to stop playing, I think I would have played more if I could just hear the SFX or if there where more songs :)

Hey another tea making game! Cool art, I couldn't get the mini game to work.

Haha i like your cover art, it's the best part! I caught a fish!

Excellent work.
You absolutely nailed the autumn vibe and the colors, lighting, and overall mood feel perfect for a chilly October evening.
The music fits the tone really well and the gameplay loop feels super solid and satisfying.
I’m a big fan of Stardew-style games, so you got me right away with the farming + cozy narrative combo.

I didn’t notice any bugs or visual glitches at all on my playthrough; everything felt really polished for a jam build. The chop animation is honestly kind of iconic at this point 😂

It was extra fun playing this after chatting with you on the Comfy Jam Discord and seeing bits of your progress during dev. Huge congrats on getting this out the door, great job!

Your game is on my list to play when I get a chance I just want to give it proper attention :)

Awesome! feel free to ping me with the vid!

We did this as a team so we basically brainstormed the ideas in a few days, not everything made it in, you know how jams go lol. We only had me and 1 other programmer Hiccup to build systems and implement the ideas that where flowing in from everyone. He was great to work with, between the 2 of us we got over 200 programming tasks of (varying degrees of complexity) done on our task board.

I like the idea of fleshing out each character, it would be nice to do a pass on each character and get their personalities more nailed down. It was intended but done rather frantically.

All of your ideas would be pretty easy to add to the systems we already have without a major refactor. Adding so many more things without overwhelming the player might be a concern, but then again, sometimes games can be overwhelming when they start, but the more you play you start learning the mechanics and then if done right it makes you want to come back and keep unlocking stuff and thinking of ways to do x and y.

Some of my ideas are:

- add a greenhouse where it's more of a sandbox, you can grow herbs and ingredients, maybe after each day you go back to the greenhouse and count your money, acorns and pick new ingredients for the next day.

- add an inventory system, so you could carry special stuff with you, like rare ingredients or keep your acorns with you. (btw acorns, one of the ideas was to make them exchangeable into "bitcorn" which is a currency the composer Ella came up with lol)

- add a store to buy new ingredients/items every day

Thanks for taking the time to give your ideas!

Further development is up in the air at this point, just depends on where the team would want to take it and how much time they would want to spend on it.

Thanks so much for playing, and for the kind words about the art and audio! our artists and composer are going to be so happy you noticed! Also glad you found the little window secret 😊

You’re not alone on the tea logic being confusing. Right now the customers are pretty strict: you have to match the tea type, hot vs iced, milk/no milk, and toppings exactly to what’s on their order card, and fully steep the teabag before serving. Even one extra ingredient or a missing topping will make them unhappy.

There’s also a chance there’s an intermittent bug where customers reject everything no matter what. I think I hit it once during playtesting, but I couldn’t reliably reproduce it, so I’m not 100% sure if it’s a real bug or just me being sleep-deprived from jam dev. 😅 If you ever feel like everything is getting rejected, it might be worth refreshing the page and loading the game again.

Really appreciate you taking the time to play multiple rounds and leave such a thoughtful comment.
