The Mahal (fortress) is central to everything you're not just battling inside a fortress, but for it. Players defend the sacred heart deep within the ancient castle walls from waves of mysterious invaders. The game focuses on this main fortress defense idea: the longer your fortress lasts, the more glory you earn. Each shot fired and each enemy defeated contribute to one goal: Keep the Fortress Alive. 🛡

cool and interesting game, the only thing is that i was a little trigger happy killing them caterpillars so I often reset my score before I got to see it.
Cool game - as you've noted already the spawning caterpillers close to the exit is a bit tricky, and my first game I was exploring and just found the heart as they started firing, so i was a bit stuck with no opportunity to shoot some before they damaged it :)
I like the shooting feel and the enemies being worms is a nice unique touch.
Hi, IsDon! Thanks for sharing your experience. Yeah, the current build is a bit tough in those areas, as the caterpillars are really in rogue mode and bit out of control, lol. I’m now considering adding a difficulty mode.
- I like the shooting feel, and having the enemies as worms is a nice, unique touch.
Thanks, mate. I appreciate it! ✨
The cinematic intro and the spinning main menu are epic

I like your letters that you placed outside the fortress
Hi 04o,
66 caterpillars killed on the first go? WOW, that's definitely a record! Thanks for playing this far, man.
- The cinematic intro and the spinning main menu are epic!
Thank you, 04o! ✨
- I like the letters you placed outside the fortress.
Glad you liked that!
Slick cinematic intro. A question, if I stand near the end point does that affect where the caterpillars spawn? Later on it felt like they were all spawning almost on top of the end point, which doesn't feel super fun for a defense style game (like mobs in a tower defense spawning right at the end of the maze in front of the objective than the start). But very nice spin on the fortress mechanic!
Hi, FatalExit! Thanks for taking the time for this detailed review! ✨
44 Caterpillar killed on the first go? Not bad! 👏✨
-Slick cinematic intro.

If you notice, those eight turrets focus on the player in real-time, means that no matter where you are inside the fortress, they always point their face on you. Once a turret's projectile is locked, if the player changes their position afterward, it fires at the earlier location. You’re right.... sometimes it doesn’t work as expected bcoz all eight turrets’s projectiles conflict with each other. I spent almost a full and half day trying to make this part better, but sadly, It sometimes appears inconsistent, but it’s still better than what it was yesterday.… it was almost made my GPU bleed, lol! I’m still working on making it smoother and more precise.
- But very nice spin on the fortress mechanic!
Thanks! I've always wanted to incorporate that, but I never got the chance. Since the jam theme is "fortress," I couldn't resist trying that spin.
Awesome Gameplay. Superb Cinematic Experience and Wonderful Graphics and Sound, Overall a nice game play.
Thanks @Ak01 ✨
