Great use of the "hard reset" theme! I found the game easier to play with Z for interact and X for hide than the mouse controls. I liked the simplicity of the game, but there were times I would have preferred to be able to switch directions. I often took a death as it was faster than running all the way to the end of a long hall. Sometimes the enemy patrols would synch up in such a way I had to hide for an annoyingly long time but most of the time the game flowed well. I was going to report that the end credits text was cutoff but I see that was already mentioned. Overall great little game!

Best one I've played so far! I try to give away some things I didn't like and some things I liked. When it comes to what could've been better, my hands hurt from constantly holding right click (you could do it either a button, or a toggle, but that's not a big thing). I think I reached the final level but I wanted to see if there is an escape menu to change the right click button, and this restarted my game (itch io fault tbh). When it comes to things I liked, I need to write a whole book about that, as everything else is really good. You balanced the mechanics really well and the theme is there, I just wished there were more different enemies (or maybe cameras/areas where you cant hide etc.). I also loved the tutorial levels and I think you should be really proud of what you've achieved :) Keep up the good work!!

Thank you so much for playing my game and for your comment! Your words were such a pleasure to read — I have to admit, they even gave my ego a little boost. 😄

What happened with the Escape key wasn’t actually itch.io’s fault… it was mine. Right at the end of development, I thought it would be nice to let players quit the game at any time, so I added that function to the Escape key — but without a confirmation dialog or anything… you know, rushing things at the last minute.

Overall, I had very little time to work on the game, so I didn’t even get a chance to add more obstacles or enemies.

Once again, thank you for your kind words!

If you every pick it up and add more enemies, give me a message, I would want to try it out ;)

This was a beautiful game, I really enjoyed it. I couldn't see the last message appearing on the screen though, it was cut after "human". There wasn't a fullscreen button, do you think that might solve it?

Thanks for playing my game. Indeed, the final text is cut off. I just realized it's due to a mistake I made in my Godot project. If you're interested, the text read as follows: On March 16th, 2156, the world's largest bionic implant corporation suffered a massive system hack. It took two weeks for them to recover from the hard reset. During that time, thousands of patients were left without their implants; some died. Weeks later, a web of corruption and unethical human experimentation came to light. Today, the company is still operating. “We save lives” is still their slogan.

I just added the fullscreen button to the itch.io editing options.
