I think there should be like a small timer where you are invincible after you steal from them, because it’s hard to tell when I am in the right distance that allows stealing, or maybe change the color of the character to visualize that I can steal. The AI needs a bit of tweaking because I can easily make them stuck and it needs a counter of remaining people or a map showing their positions. Oh and the character seems blurry when moving, whereas everything else seems crystal clear for some reason. But otherwise cool idea and has a good potential!
Thank you for the feedback and playing the game! And yes, we are aware of all these possible improvements and bug fixes, however due to time, we didn't manage to balance the game how we wanted to (and ofc, what even is a gamejam game if it doesn't contain some bugs :D).

I tried pressing E but I lost life each time. I wasn't sure if you are suppose to press E then sprint away. Feels like an GTA 2.
Hey, yes, you're supposed to be sneaky as a thief, so after pressing E, you need to run away for 30seconds to successfully get the money. We were aware that it might not be that descriptive, but we didn't have time to implement tutorial or better instructions.
The game is a lot of fun. I do enjoy running around after getting all the upgrades and trying for crazy multipliers!
Took me a little bit to realize you have to wait for the cooldown to run out to steal money before escaping though.
