Wow! really unique mechanic. took me a sec to realize that you can move over the red blocks (I thought I had to dodge those). Gets really tense when it speeds up! This arcade game definitely had what it takes to get me to chase a high score!

Awesome game that combines the theme really well with a game I'm familiar with and already love, good job man!

I'm not much for brags but hehe

Really liked you game!
You made the theme fits well, and the gameplay is very fun and intuitive. I've heard about the 9000 guy so I don't know if my score is big enough, but I'm proud of it haha

Developer

Don't worry, the 9000 was a bug. 700 is very good!

Fun game! I feel like it's a bit too hard though (or maybe it's just skill issue :v)

Its a interesting creative game with nice interesting graphics!

Great game! Felt like the challenge escalation was paced really well.

Oh this is really cool! The virus feels properly aggressive and it's a real balancing act between gaining and maintaining territory, nice work!

Enjoyed the classic take on snake here.

The virus was too good for me :)

I love the game idea, but it's too challenging for me, lol.

A fun twist on the gird capture type of game!

One of the best games mechanically I've played so far! Good job!

Developer

Thank you!

My best score was 155 after a few tries and then I'm checking the comments and I see a guy with more than 9000?

Not sure if I can beat it, haha. But overall, a solid and fun game to play, that is very catch and addictive. Could turn into a mobile game for sure

Really fun when you get the hang of it!

I think I broke the algorithm and filled the entire play area.

Developer (1 edit)

Yea, I thought I had fixed that bug but clearly not! I think it only happens in a specific scenario when viruses are stopped

I love this submission. It's  polished, although I found it too hard and didn't understand how to use the powerups. Great job.

Developer

Thanks. Yea, I did not explain the powerups at all lol dw

really creative! I liked playing it :)

Really clever take on the theme! The combination of snake and paper.io (maybe not intentional but still) was very interesting. Well done!

Developer

It's based on Splix.io but that game itself would be well described as a combination of snake and paper.io (Splix did come first tho)

I like the take on the classic snake game and I love the power ups especially the energize one since it help me to be the number score on the leader board! The camera work is great at helping see what is happening and the mini-map is a nice touch for helping find my way back to the connection. The only thing is that I was not aware that I needed to keep touching the green blocks to create new "zones" or what not, so I died a few times thinking all I needed to do was run away.

I'm glad you liked it. While you were playing I was screaming at all the issues I was seeing tho. The battery did not give you that high score, it was a bug in the block capture algorithm that I thought I fixed! And that one time you died was because your block count went under the survivable threshold shown with the slider on the left (ik that's never explained or shown clearly). The battery you get lowers that threshold for a  while.
