Honestly this is a really good game with a really good concept and incorporates the theme well. I really enjoyed each level and really liked its artstyle. What I were to add/change is a level selection menu, and probably a better tutorial level. All in all, Well Done!
This was a really cool twist on the "interact with past self" mechanic. At first, I wasn't sold on past selves interacting with each other with physics, but after playing more, I think that's a really cool mechanic. The artstyle is also awesome.
The gameplay is very creative! I appreciated having a rewind button so I could trial and error the levels. I also really liked how the music kept building as you progressed to the next color. My only criticism would be that the character's movement is quite slippery/sensitive, thus making the platforming a bit too unforgiving. Other than that, I really enjoyed playing it!
It's so much better than I anticipated! Got kinda cheesy in last levels but idea is very great as well as execution. Music design is top notch, it really hits when there is 3 other copies of you do stupid stuff. Movement could've been less harsh though
Really good stuff you guys put out here, the puzzle is definitely super unique, and it was fun and rewarding completing each level!
Really fun. A bit to challenging for me but cool idea.
Fun and challenging puzzle game. It would be nice to have an indicator of where each characters will spawn so you can plan ahead.
I enjoyed the game and it was well executed, but I think the platforming aspects were a little difficult for a game like this... having to repeat a lot of actions over and over again because you clipped a spike. I like how the world spins for each loop though, it adds an extra layer of depth.
The concept of the game is absolutely amazing and well executed! I loved the attention you put on making the concept of time loop into the mix. Personally, I would make the movement a little more controlled, and the spike colliders a bit more forgiving, because you're mixing a very tight platformer with a time puzzle where you dont know how you have to play this level... so dying becomes 3-4x more punishing (esp because you have to stand still over and over). That being said, a brilliant use of the theme, and a generally good platformer at that.
Really cool game! The movement had a lot of depth and I liked how it added the twist of rotating the level.
Really cool concept. To be honest I absolutely suck at puzzle games and platformers so I can't comment on the gameplay too much.
Movement feels a bit slidey, maybe there is a bit too much inertia on the characters when moving around?
It's a very stylish game though. The art, music and vibes are immaculate so good ratings there.
Nice work!!
I think this is great. Conceptually interesting and fun to play. I like the art a lot and I really love the detail of additional voices in the audio coming in as you activate more guys. It is exceedingly difficult to play precise platformers on a keyboard though, and that made the second level a little too much for me.
so so good and so difficult. i made it to the 3rd level but couldn’t trust my past selves enough to continue. amazing idea and game!
i actually ragedquit wow this game is so insanely good once i figured out the mechanics i was instantly hooked - the jumping is insanely hard but for puzzle fans this would be a 10/10 game could see this on steam doing big!!! amazing job you should finish this!
I like watching the clockwork of my old selves working together to all complete the level toghether. the puzzles are pretty tough but not impossible. the music is a bit nice but is a bit short. Other than that, nice game!
Very clever idea! Executed well too. I loved watching my old moves repeat.
Very decent entry into the jam!
I liked it a lot. It feels very unique. Now my only grudge is the controls, having W as jump and Space as dash felt very unintuitive to me. I wish it were space to jump and shift to dash, which is quite common in platformers.
The puzzles felt great, but I wish there was a way to go back to the previous color guys to make adjustments. The graphics are decent, and so is the audio
Good job, keep making awesome stuff!
7.5/10 ^^
Oh, you can actually go back to the previous colors - you just need to hold R for about half a second to rewind to the previous iteration. It's in description and should have been communicated in the tutorial. Anyways, thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Ah must have missed that part mb haha
Very fun. Once it all clicked, I couldn't stop playing because I wanted to figure out all the puzzles. I really like the idea. However I kept getting soft locked on the level after the introduction of the screen turning power up. The yellow character kept despawning after restarting the level and I was stuck as the green character. Movement is a little so slippery so it was hard to time jumps. Very good stuff here though
Hey, it turns out there's a bug in that level that didn't show up in testing
:( Effectively ending the game there. Sadly updating the game during the voting period is against the rules so there's no way to fix it. Thanks for playing anyways! We'll fix it after the jam is over
100% honest, it's not the type of game that I generally like.
But I really like the idea. Seeing where the others start would have been nice, kinda a pain to do a loop, and then having to rewind because you now have to be precisely at this point in space at this point in time to jump for half a sec.
The movement is a little too floaty to my linking, especially mixed with precise jumps on a moving "platform", aka our previous loops.
Otherwise art is consistent, and the music is nice. Missing some sfx, maybe.
Great concept, and I dig the vibe! Executing the strategy is pretty tough, which is cool. I'm stumped on the red guy on the 3rd set.
