This is cool! It has a similar mechanic to an old nitrome game... this one? but a slightly different direction! I struggled a little bc I only have a mousepad lol

Developer(+1)

Oh wow that is pretty similar, first time I've seen it! Sorry that it requires a mouse! Definitely might make some updates for more accessibility. Thanks for playing!

The mechanic of switching from the orbitee becoming the orbiter is quite unique! I haven’t seen it in any other of the games I’ve played (though with over 9000 games, maybe it does exist). There’s a good variety to the levels themselves as well, great work with this game!

This is really fun to play. Controls feel great. I enjoyed it. Thanks! :)

Cool idea, cute art, very enjoyable to play.

The game is so simple, yet so addictive, and even has reasons to replay levels (going for higher scores/faster clears), absolute insane job

really nice mechanic, and very satisfying to break asteroids and chain combos. It feels a bit punishing to cancel the combo on hitting a wrong colour asteroid though . The speeding up and the strategizing loop placement mechanics work a bit against each other - but you can get the hang of it decently quickly.

This game was cool! I like the concept. The feeling of creating a nice combo/flow felt good.

Keep up the good work!

this is AMAZING!!! I love this!

Slamming those curling stones into the asteroids felt really good, especially with that fthomp sound. Surprisingly addictive! Nice work!

A lot of looping for sure and really like the movement/game mechanic.  Great job.

I really enjoyed the game and its concept! The only thing I would change is the difficulty but all in all, Well Done!

I liked this a lot - a really clever take on the theme! The color switching mechanic > combo was great, and I feel like there's a lot of potential here for further twists on the mechanics! Great stuff!

That's a really clever mechanic and it was fun to play. The sound effects really help make it feel satisfying to smash all those asteroids and you had just enough variation to keep it interesting without being overwhelming. Great game!

I really like this! It's a fun mechanic and you've made it feel very satisfying to destroy the asteroids with the vfx and sfx.

Agree with other comments that changing the loop direction is an interesting direction to explore and could open up the level design space further!

Most original mechanic I've seen so far! I found it satisfying getting into the rhythm of switching orbs to move around and get combos! Super cool idea!

Clever combo fighting/movement mechanic. It's fun and challenging, and I like how I could take my time trying to get every move right.

Nice one!

Love this game! Curious if this game was at all inspired by A Dance of Fire and Ice. Nonetheless, the interpretation of the theme was very clever in my opinion and the gameplay is overall very well designed and balanced and this has a lot of potential for other interesting levels using all of the mechanics in ways that are unconventional (for example hitting the border changes your direction and I wonder if that could be incorporated into a level in any way). I feel like the. It was very satisfying to try to beat my score as I was going through the levels.

Great job overall!

Developer

It actually was! I've never played it before but I've seen gameplay of it so we thought it'd be cool to use a similar looping mechanic outside of the rhythm game genre. There could definitely be some cool designs by intentionally switching directions with the border, so we'll take that into consideration. Glad you enjoyed it!

Love the concept! The controls felt good and the idea was pretty cool. Nice sound effect and visuals. I wish there was a way to change orbit direction since that was a bit confusing at times. A good challenge and fun game! Good job!
