Fun story and gameplay, a bit short but very enjoyable nonetheless

Developer

Thank you for playing!!

Ah, my favorite genre: "kill yourself". Jokes aside , good job on level design and art, and the narration in the beginning is amazing, reminded me of Disco Elysium a little.

Developer

omg yes Disco Elysium has a big influence on me. Thank you for playing!!

For sure the cutest use-your-own-previous-dead-body-to-proceed type game I've played, nice! The physics being a little wonky actually complements the cute, goofy aesthetic. I chuckled more than once during dialogues :)

Developer

Thank you so much! Love your game too!!

Liked the visuals! Would be glad to see the whole story

Cute game. I feel the gameplay is lacking a bit, but at least I didn't encountered any bugs & the rest is great. Congrats 👍

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! We had to focus on not having a bug rather than expanding the mechanics so I agree the gameplay is lacking a bit!

Great artwork, story, and music! The gameplay is solid as well.

Really really really the most cutest art style. Game contrary to that uses uses bodies as plats, lol. Still loved it, felt quite cozy while stepping on my previous versions. would appreciate an effort if you could look into my game too.

Developer

Thank you for playing!! And ofc we make sure we play every game on our comment section!

Really cool concept it reminds me of mortol which was my favourite game in UFO 50! I love the art here it's so cute, good submission!

Developer(+1)

Someone else also said our game reminded them of Mortol so I checked it out. It's such a cool game using dead bodies I love it!! Also thank you so much for playing!!!

Hey gang, saw your post in the discord & am I glad I did. This is very cute! One thing is you might make it more clear what you can pick up, just because at the very start when it was die by fire, I wasn't expecting to pick up the whole chimney cannon & I thought it was a glitch at first haha. Congrats on a great jam!

Developer

Thank you for playing and your suggestion!! That's something we have to work on!

I do enjoy the aspect that you can use move the obstacles to progress, that was unexpected. One thing I'd suggest you look into is the movement however. I don't really know what could cause it but when you go down from a tile you just plummet into the ground at mach 3 speed, I don't know if it was an intended game mechanic but it makes the movement very jittery and floaty. Apart from that you got a nice concept with a cute narrative that I believe would make for a nice cozy game if expanded upon

Developer

Thank you for feedback and encouragement!! We didn't notice this bug so it's not an intended game mechanic. We'll look into it!!

I love the art and the mechanics. Love what you have here!!!

Developer

Thank you so much!!

Haha, this is very cute, and our game use the same mechanic also!

Developer

ohh thank you for playing our game, I'll try yours too!!

Charming! I love your sense of humor and creativity.

I've played a couple of games that utilize this mechanic of using previous dead bodies as platforms, but I think you've presented it in a very logical way. I also love the art style, but it's a little inconsistent in some parts. For example, the pipe that spits out fire disconnects from the platform when it bulges and changes size, and the platform's art overlaps in some parts.

This submission is really funny and enjoyable to play - great work :) Good luck with your submission!

Developer

Thank you so muchh. It means a lot to us!! Also thank you for bringing up the fire pipe. I didn't aware of the issue before.
