This game seems like a scene straight from an indie gem with thousands of diehard fans on steam, not a 4 day jam. It seems out of place in all of the best ways possible. The art is beautiful, it manages to tell a full story while fitting the theme, which isn't common this jam... it seems like a fully polished experience that overshadows most if not all the other games I have tried in the jam. The atmosphere seems similar to Frank Herbert's Dune, from the desert setting to the mysterious religion, it all just... draws my soul to it. No bugs, no odd interactions, just... Narrative Magnificence. Congratulations, I hope you the best in the jam, I can clearly see you in Mark's upcoming video on the top games of the jam.
WOW! EVERYWORD OF THIS WAS A HUGE COMPLIMENT! Dang thanks so much!
There's nothing to say about this game that hasn't already been said.
Masterpiece. I almost can't believe it was made in 4 days.
Listen we feel the same way about the pace haha we had a heart to heart last day and was like.. dang we did so much in such a short amount of time. We hustled for SURE
Absolutely incredible game in every sense- Narrative, gameplay, art, audio, the entire direction that the game went with... What a beautiful game with such satisfying gameplay and a wonderful story. Absolutely incredible job!
Thanks for the nice comment!!! Much love!!!
Wow what an absolute joy to behold. Fantastic art and vibes! Hats off to the team here, just dripping in quality. Really enjoyed this one. Ours games are pretty similar (Experiential drawing) and it's cool to see another similar take done so well.
Just played your game! DUDE SOOO DOPE! Great job too!! Thanks for the compliment!
I think It goes without saying that this is an absolutely beautiful work of art. This was extremely atmospheric and pretty, I loved all the gorgeous and captivating artwork! The narrative was also very nice to go through.
Thank you so much! So happy you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game. That was our main focus this year!
The visuals and art is gorgeous, it's so unbelievably polished! At first I thought this would be a very abstract story but I was drawn in by the illustrations and questions posed by the character. This game definitely deserves more recognition for it's aesthetic alone.
OMG I JUST FINISHED THE GAME WHAT WHAT HUJH
Wow! Thank you for the kind words! It's really awesome to put a lot of effort and love into something and have people enjoy it. Cheers!
Wow, the visuals alone, my god! wish there was a little more pacing to the actions, but understand it does seem intentionally contemplative. Overall, such a gorgeously polished look that you can't help but be immersed. Well done indeed ✨
Thank you so much for playing and leaving a note for us! Much appreciated!
Can’t believe this is made in 4 days! Very cool work, would play a “fuller” version with more puzzles.
Yeah, we decided to sacrifice puzzle complexity for creating an in depth and polished atmosphere. Our original idea had more to play with in the Observatory. Good old game jams though haha, can't do it all!
Thanks for playing!
the graphics are amazing
Wow wow. Visuals and audio fantastic. Super calming!
nice art and concept
The gameplay was not the most engaging thing ever. However, the visuals and the sound design and just the general vibe are absolutely stunning. I might straight up make a screenshot of the ending sequence into my desktop background.
Is it intentional that after the game ends and the title screen reappears you can no longer complete the triangle constellation on it? It would make narrative sense, but I’m not sure if you intended it or not.
Thank you so much! Yes, the "final loop" is meant to end where you started with the realization that the quote is yours, you had just forgotten it... don't know if that comes across, but that's kind of the whole the idea
Yep, that part does come across! I was just wondering about the triangle constellation.
It actually was a bug at first, but I liked it, so I did intentionally leave it haha. It felt final and it also stops the player from starting a new game possibly thinking that there might be more to discover only to then maybe be disappointed that there wasn't. Kinda solves all the problems haha.
Love a good narrative abstract game. Congrats on the polished looks.
Thank you! Our goal was to complete this jam with a polished look and feel.
Absolutely stunning visuals! The puzzles were a little simple but I was content to just take in the world.
Thank you so much! We made a conscious decision to focus on creating a strong atmosphere over making a great puzzle game. Glad to hear we were successful in that quest! Thanks for playing!
More like a movie than a videogame, would have liked the puzzles to be a bit more challenging as someone else pointed out but it's GORGEOUS.
yea! we agree! could have been flushed out more, but we decided early on to make it more immersive! But perhaps after we will find more time to make the puzzle aspect of the constellation solving more engaging and part of the immersion. So little time, so.. little.. time.. hahaha
Wow this was more like a movie than an actual game. How did you make so much art in so little time. Soundtrack was also beautiful.
I am known to be a speed painter! I go by Robotpencil and have been drawing for nearly 20 years professionally! Yea basically LOTS of drawing/painting :D haha
If someone would say that this was made in 4 days I would not believe them. Great game!
We used as many minutes we were given within 96 hours haha was a grind! :D Thanks for the nice comment
You guys made a great game, good job!
Means a lot! We worked super hard on this!
That's a masterpiece right there !
Thank you!
The art is amazing, the audio is incredible, great story, I really really loved it >3
Thank you! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed it!
