The story's pretty nice and original, perhaps the "mini games" like repairing the planks could have been a bit longer by actually fixing them one by one and not all at once..

Either way, nice work!

That's a good idea. Thanks for giving it a shot!

Good game bro! Loved the intriguing part with the car

Fun and silly story! Clearly alot of effort into visuals! Found the music to be grating, bit of a missed opportunity perhaps.

Developer

No question, that's definitely the area I need to work on the most.

There's a reason I worked in a team, my pixel art is appaling! Do check out our game, I wrote all the music myself!

Fun little platformer but I was waiting for the shoe to drop but it never came. I just expect twists theses days. So is it a twist that there isn't twist?

Very unique game! it wasn't always clear what were obstacles or what the objective was, but it steers you in the right direction, and the art, audio, and story make up for a lot of it!

this is the best game in this jam, super dreamy, dialog is funny, palette and art is gorgeous, surrealist concept, loved this a LOT and it has nothing to do with my friend who works at a theme park.

This was the best comment to wake up to. Thank you!

Nice game with a funny narrative. :) Took me some time to get used to controlls though.

This is cute, and I'm impressed with how much you were able to get going in terms of visuals! Always love a platformer. And the OSHA notices got a laugh out of me. Great work!

Cool idea and great story/art! I really struggle with setting up animations so having this many is hella impressive

Developer

Thanks for checking it out!

Practice practice practice. I literally made them first this time because I knew I was going to be burnt out by day 3 of the jam.

Quite an interesting little game! I like how it perfectly captures the styles and aesthetics of the Game Boy.

Developer

Thank you! GB Studio is a fantastic little tool. Highly recommended if you want to make small games.

Some of the dialog got a chuckle out of me, artstyle is pretty cool too :) neat

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you were into it :)

More of a narrative game than anything else and a pretty nice and short one. Looping theme is on the weaker side.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out

Cute little game. could really use a volume-slider tho.

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, that's a common issue with GB Studio games.

Nice work! This has the feeling of an NES game, and the writing was funny.  Anyways, time for my 3-hour lunch break.

Developer

After finishing a game jam, we all deserve a 3 hour lunch break

What a nice interpretation of the theme. It's a cool game, I like the art style and the story, but it's a bit short.

Developer

Thanks for playing :) the one I made last year was slightly longer--but I kinda joined this year at the last minute and wanted to make something I knew I could finish lol

Sick sound design. I like how you included various “minigames” and different parts of the game have different gameplay mechanics.

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you dug it :)
