Gathering the town - Lots going on. The composition is very exciting! Sounds like some of these might be free orchestral instruments, which are hard to get under control so I understandthe comments mentioning balance and mixing. One thing I noticed is that the level of an instrument was ok but they had really high attack, especially strings. I really like all the space you've left, all the ideas can breathe and are very impactful.

Title - Beautiful viola melody, I like the gliss. Instrumentation works really well together. I can imagine instruments in an orchestra playing the ambient noises too, is that how you wrote it? It's very well made and epic, worried that something this long won't be fully appreciated as a title track though.
Battling the Oni - Love the low brass, used super well. Very strong melodies. So great to hear some real percussion used as it should! All of your build ups are so fantastic! These instruments sound so good, I'm assuming you payed for high quality ones? (if not please share your secrets)
Release the spirits - Little touches like the trills on the flutes don't go unnoticed, it really adds to the orchestration in subtle ways and makes the whole thing sound so incredible. Great return of the viola, I assume echoing the title.
You clearly put alot of work into these tracks, I would love to hear a whole soundtrack from you!
Main Menu - Fun energetic happy tune, Could use a little space on the melody to help the ideas sink in a little.
Lousy Ol town - Bass solo! How Dare you!I think it's actually pretty cool, just the rest of the time it could use taking a back seat a little more. Think it just needs to hit the root notes a little more.
Onward - Very upbeat, works well!
Bonus - You lost - Melancholic track, if it's a death track I think it could use hitting a bit harder at the start, but that could also be done by sfx

Setting sail - strong rhythm, like sailors working a boat. Feels like it will loop well
Trouble at sea - Same praise here, instruments work really well together, all very balanced levels and reverb, where are the instruments from? I think you could feature the percussion a bit more heavily in this track, any of crash cymbal, snare, bass drum. For inspiration for wind, brass and percussion I would recommend this piece of music by robert w. smith (I particularly enjoy 6:00 onwards)

The pulsing synth and percussion in rush-through-the-field made the track really tense, it was very exciting! Good coninuation into the next track, green-embrace, wilst mixing up the atmosphere. Some of the shimmering sounds were a bit harsh. Good use of cello I thought, would love to hear it play one of the soundtrack's principal melodies really legato. Nice work!
Intro - ambient sound and instruments are mixed fantastically.
In flow - the way the texture increases complexity and the ideas pass around different instruments is very satisfying. It's all very well balanced.
A rainy stroll - drum intro feels a bit rushed, perhaps it could have been a proper fill before it sets up the groove instead of just starting a bit early. Drums could be a bit more dynamic in this one overall. Really strong melodic and harmonic ideas, and that dotted quavers rhythm is super groovy.
Diashow - Very graceful piano and strings. It's another nice idea for a track, but feels more like a continuation of the rest of the soundtrack than a conclusion.
Really great submission, sound was really polished and the compositions were full of great ideas!
Some really cool guitar writing! Would love to hear a little bit more bass coming through the mix at times (had the thought during wild unknown) I think mixing guitar/piano to get out of the way of bass might help. Also, a good rule of thumb when writing bass lines is to have it start on the root when the chord changes (unless you have a specific bass melody/shape) It was mostly good, just a bit off in big city lights. I think a lot of the bass here needs to be an octave higher too. (Seems like you're going for a new York jazz style)

Nice compositions! I made some notes so here goes.
Could hear some interesting melodies in horns but they were too quiet, so doing some basic mixing to get the right levels is a good next step. Would be cool to hear some counterpoint between the instruments, there are parts where and instrument plays the same thing as bass where it could play a different idea that "answers" the piano melody. Bass playing chords doesn't usually sound good (unless it's a bass solo, maybe).
I think just let your melodies breathe more! There's some strong ideas, but you need to consider phrasing and pacing to make them their best. A good melody is often easy to sing, and as humans we like things that sound like the voice so leave gaps for "breathing" (I know it's all midi, just trust me it'll make things sound more natural). As I said earlier give your melodies answers! If you have an ascending line that repeats a bunch, maybe every fourth one is descending for example. Or another instrument could play something completely different. At the end of the day, if it sounds good, it is good, just use music theory as a means to experiment.
This all takes practice, trial and error, writing lots, and most importantly, active listening! Make sure you're listening carefully to your favourite soundtracks and thinking about stuff like rhythm, phrasing, harmony etc.

Really great soundtrack! Love the little tempo changes, the instrumentation is really good! Each track has well defined sections and concludes nicely. Its all very polished and complete.
It might be worth considering "breathing" with wind instruments, especially flutes/piccolo. Some lines sound more suited to a keyboard than a wind instrument. In a real orchestra they can stagger breathing if they have to but it's more idiomatic writing if you consider it beforehand. Also forces you to have good phrasing.
I think it's a good sign that's my only nitpick haha, well done!
Making waves - cool sound, great opening/menu theme. The second half of the song, after about the minute mark there's a clash that I think could use resolving. D in the second chord (Db major) in the synth pad could be moved.
Boss battle with beer - cool dance track, needed some bigger moments I think. Maybe some extra layers, boost the kick and snare a little, a heavy lead synth.
We're out of time - same thing I think, strong ideas, feels a bit empty, add a couple drum fills every so often to spice it up too!
When the party is over - really great track! Drums throw me a little, I think if something else followed the rhythm of the hi hat it would reinforce it a bit. (Of if something does, turn it up in the mix)
Remix - I guess same comments apply, I like the variations! I did something similar with mine where I made boss track versions of themes.

What others have said I guess. The melody and chords would match if they were in the same key, not sure what happened here! If they both seem to start on the same note in your project then it's probably a problem with the instrument. Try it with different instruments maybe, something really clean like piano. They're really close in key so it's a bit odd? Might just be a case of move the chords a half step up.
Not to repeat your words back at you, but it just sounds like an exisiting game soundtrack, it's all so complete! Even without the recurring themes it all sounds so coherent! The tracks are very dynamic and exciting without getting in the way of (imagined) gameplay. The grand finale was fantastic!
Honestly you did so much that it's hard to judge as a whole (funny coming from me haha), but it's all really well done and polished.
I listened through a couple times to really get a good idea, sorry I didn't have as much feedback as you gave me! A good sign I hope! I'll make sure to keep an eye out for whatever you work on next!
You're the gift that keeps giving! I use soundfonts from earthbound and Pokémon diamond/pearl lol, I make synths in vital, have used the power drums, lots of stuff from labs, there's a the sine player that Berlin orchestra runs in has stuff too. Got Kontakt but nothing from there took my fancy yet. Going to keep coming back to this comment I think for my next project! Listening to your soundtrack now!
Update, the soundtrack is incredible, anyone reading should check it out immediately.
Also I did a lot of experimenting with different instruments throughout the week to get the sounds right and balance the whole soundtrack but found it really difficult without a game to write for, and I couldn't quite balance the soundfonts and sampled instruments (as you say). I'm still quite new to working in a DAW so if anyone has suggestions for sound libraries that will compliment my writing style I would love to hear them! This comment is really helpful, thanks for putting so much thought into it!
Thanks so much for listening and for all of your thoughts, I agree completely with your criticisms! The scope was quite big on this project and I was working on mixing right up till the deadline. If I think it's worth it I'll remaster everything taking into account all the feedback and anything I didn't get around to doing before submitting. Out for a bit but I'll make sure to check out your soundtrack when I get back!

Battle theme- Very high energy orchestral track! Feels like it needs some timpani to give a big low end boom!
Eryndor's Madness - Very epic track! Think it could do with boosting the mid range instruments a little, like cellos, violas, trombones. The trumpets and solo violin especially aren't mixing well, I think you could cut off some of their harsh high frequencies a little. Compositions are great, some brilliant ideas! Love to hear someone else using church organ too!
