Fun spin on the snake formula! It took me a bit to understand exactly how it was I was dealing damage (I know it's written out, but the intuitive understanding is difficult), but after I figured that out it was fun! The sound effects are nice, but if there was just a little more feedback on dealing damage- maybe a particle effect or a tiny bit of screenshake or something- that would really sell it!
Refreshing take on an old game, I enjoyed playing!
I always love to see classic games get remixed in creative ways like this, great job!
I also really like the title screen; the pixel art is phenomenal.
Creative take on a classic, much more fun imo.
Great game! I always enjoy a creative new mechanic, that is fun, while staying so simple
The snake mechanics we all know, but dealing damage based on how many segments of your tail you eat was a great idea. Fun game!
Relatively straightforward, but well executed concept. The addition of the modifier fruits for fun bonuses was a nice touch.
Simple, nice aesthetic and pretty solid!
Cool concept! kinda similar to mine! Really liked the Visuals and felt quite polished!
Good job!
Very fleshed out mechanics for this jam. Love the artstyle too, very polished
This is excellent! I love snake games, but I’ve never played anything close to this. It took me a second to understand that I could do more damage if I cut off more of my tail, and once I got to levels with multiple enemies and realized I could try to attack more than one at once, I started to realize just how much depth there is here. So many good ideas, and great execution!
