How does your game fit the theme?
You've heard of walking around in circles, but what about walking around *in spheres*? The ending also creates a loop with a bit of a shift in perspective...

Very trippy, very different from other projects, well done!
I loved this! Chill Worlds To Revolve To music was on-point, platforming is hard to do but the collisions were pretty clean, super neat concept! I just wanna know why our protagonist is crying ;-;
Thank you!
His posture is like that because his head is too heavy and he's trying to hold it up with his hands 😄 carrying the whole world on his shoulders. Although I suppose that kind of weight could also make someone cry.
WAIT that's so cool!! I see what you did with the end of the game there :))) nice job!
Hehe, thanks! The animation got a bit messed up during the export so the transition isn't as smooth as I'd like, but I hope the loop with the ending still makes sense.
This is some trippy stuff, I really liked it! Would love to see something like this in VR! The vibe is awesome. Really unique idea. The controls, however, sometimes feel awkward. Other than that I had a blast!
Thanks! I'm already working on improving the controls, the way it feels right now was born out of necessity to make the whole "rotating hollow sphere" thing work at all.
Quite a unique experience, there's some theme there to be explored. For games like these, would be nice to have some kind of narrative to provide the player with motivations to explore the world more, maybe? A bit of small tutorial on the control (even if just minimalistic) would definitely help.
Thanks for the feedback! I wanted the narrative to be told visually and for it to be language independent. As for a tutorial, maybe popup images of the relevant keys would be a good idea, like how it initially prompts you to press M1.
Some good example I think would be Journey, wordless and they did it with the outline of the controller, a button showing would work also
Loved how the ambient soundtrack and alien visuals pull you into a dreamy, surreal space—the sphere rotation puzzles feel inventive and meditative.
Thank you for the kind words and feedback!
Immersive visual and audio elements. Feel like I am walking in a plant cell. Very cool. The character moves a bit too slow though.
So surreal, loved it, very unique take on the theme.
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
I'm a big fan of space themes! Wish I could do that -very well made experience :)
Great, surreal vibes and an interesting approach to the theme. Seems like a lot of thought went into this one; would love to see it taken further with more time to polish the game feel.
Thank you for the comment!
I'll definitely expand on it, there were a few puzzle ideas that went unused because of the time pressure and a few assets already have improved versions that I just need to add to the game. Happy to see that the surreal atmosphere is well received!
Interesting take! Loved the theme that you guys brought to the table!
Thank you for playing!
I like the idea, the art, and the atmosphere. Well done! The controls, however, do have some flaws... The character can feel a bit slow and finicky to control at times. I found myself getting stuck between platforms a few times, having to glitch out of the collision boxes.
The controls definitely need some fine-tuning, getting it to work as intended at all was a challenge, since it's the sphere rotating around you, as opposed to you moving. I'll probably make the character faster and improve the unstuck function as well once the jam is over.
The atmosphere here is absolutely wonderful - the ambient music and the muffled sounds of the spheres rotating as you move, the alien textures - it all works really well to lend the game a strange, dreamlike feeling that I was happy to get lost in.
It felt a little awkward mechanically, with the slow movement speed and odd jump - it works really well to add to the impression of a dream (and the main character is carrying a boulder so makes sense they'd be slow!), but it made missing jumps and walking back quite frustrating.
Really enjoyed the environmental puzzle in the second sphere, where I realised that my position affected the rotation of the spheres and could be used to affect the hinged platform
Thank you for playing!
I will probably tweak the movement speed and jump height after the jam, the movement mechanics went through many, many iterations but eventually I had to move on to other aspects as well. Glad you liked the atmosphere and the puzzle.
