How does your game fit the theme?
Our game fits the theme of “loop” because the player must guide a character in such a way that it ends up back where it started, in a “loop”.

Really cool game ! Loved the take on the team and quite some polish too ! Good job !
Amazing game mechanics and well-designed levels, great job! But I have a question, I can’t get the gold coins on top in level 3, can you help me?
Great implementation of the theme. I hope there were some sort of hints to help the player after they can't seem to figure it out.
what form do you think the hints should take? Maybe outlines of where things should go, or maybe text hints?
If you do outlines of where things should go, the puzzle won't exist to solve. If I had to suggest some ideas, they'd be in form of either through level design or affordance. Examples for both -
Level Design - The background image can help through signposting/ help guide the player. Drawing over the background image or having them be a little more scenic can help denote a narrative and guide the players. The small spring can be visuallised through objects that can gain be jumped above. A small tree as a reference for the small spring, a taller tree for the bigger spring. Once the player goes through the first trial, they start relating to what the environment is asking of them and what the mechanics can do. Get it? Also, you can create whole worlds with different objects guiding the same way, a Mario tunnel means go down, an Alienship beam means go up, get wild with it.
Affordance - Your game already has some elements that use this, but you can add more clearer versions as well.
Spring affords bounce, double spring affords bounce but twice the height? Similarly arrows - → means right but there can be another one that functionally does the same things, but looks like ⤷ or ↳ to denote being dropped from height and going right.
Maybe there are better ways but maybe this helps to still make the player think.
That’s an idea I’ve never thought of, using that background as a hint. I’ll think about adding it after the jam is over, if my team decides to continue to work on it :)
classic artwork and puzzle not hard for me, I like it.
If possible, can you please rate my game and leave a comment too?
Great idea with simple gameplay. Nice work! I just wanted to know whether we should complete the level with making a loop or not because I completed a level without making a loop
Which level was that? All levels are intended to create looping solutions.
I love the idea of the game, it is fun to play and the solution to each level is very interesting. I think that the idea of the loop in the challenge makes it so much more difficult, and that challenge is what every great puzzle game strives to have. Truly awesome game, wish I had infinite time to complete it lol
Amazing
I like the physics and easy, straightforward, yet interesting puzzles
This was a great puzzle game! Easy to understand and satisfying when you completed a level. Nicely done!
This reminds me of Mario vs Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! It's very smooth and the instructions/ gameplay is easy to follow, great work!
This is such a charming game!! I'm surprised it was made from Scratch, very well done!
Thanks!
Nice art and concept!
Neat!
This was great! Simple, yet a really good brainteaser, sound FX makes it super satisfying when you get through a level. All in all, great job!!
Thanks :)
Cool Game
Great game! The basic concepts were super simple to learn, but they still led to very complicated and intricate levels :)
Love the concept of this one, the windup toy is a very clever idea! The puzzles are tricky and satisfying and the art is perfect. Good thought to add hotkeys for the toolbar too. Really great job :D
Thank you! I’ll check out your entry as well :)
This is a great creative twist and very satisfying to get the guy to complete the level, well done!
I love the creative concept of the game, and want it to be expanded in the future after the jam. Keep it up! :)
Thanks! We were planning to have a lot more placeable tiles and features… but this is a game jam, so, oh well. I’ll ask the others if they want to keep working on it after the jam :D
This game was so cute! The puzzles where really good , I love the unique take in gameplay and the sounds were so satisfying with the art. Great job!:)
Thanks :)
I’ll be sure to check out your entry!
