Interesting idea, too bad it's too short (I'm saying this in a good way).
What an addicting concept and the orbiting adds a unique challenge. Sometimes it's a bit hard to tell if a rock can be eaten but it's made up by the victory lap at the end.
Omg this is so addicting! It took me a few tries to win but after each I just jumped back in without a second thought. Very well done! The sound design made everything fit together so well. Good job!
We brainstormed an idea about orbiting, but we never thought about BEING the PLANET! Great idea, the game is quite fun too!
Fun game! Your interpretation of the theme is very creative, and I like the unique control scheme! It's also satisfying to weave your way through giant rocks, munching as many small rocks as you can, then later devouring those same rocks that gave you trouble. Definitely made me feel like this guy!
My biggest issue is that some rocks that look like you should be able to eat them end up damaging you, which can be frustrating and also lead to overly safe play. Otherwise, you've got yourself a really fun and zen game! GODOT FOREVER!! ✊
Much appreciated. Yeah we made it so you can eat anything smaller than about 80% of your own mass. We had dreams of making a way to tell which asteroids are "edible" but alas, game jam.
Very fun but the size calculation is definitely off, make the game feel really bad when you take permanent damage on something that looks fine
The controls took a second to get used to, but once I did, this was a very satisfying game! The beginning is definitely tricky since it could be hard to tell which rocks are small enough to eat or where each hitbox ends, but after reaching a certain size, it all pays off. Nice job!
Super satisfying! Starts off a little slow, but once you get going, it's a literal Planetary snowball! Very simple and relaxing
Absolutely loved the gameplay! The planet being slightly difficult to keep track of in respect to which direction it would go when you hit up or down was really interesting to play with in regards to the orbit! I loved the noise it made whenever I collected another asteroid as well. Great game!
Based on the pictures I thought I knew what this game would be. I was happily surprised at how satisfying it was to control. That simple change really made it feel cool and unique. Way to go. Very well done!
