Liked the artstyle and the puzzles. Unfortunatelly they got so hard, I couldn’t complete second drum level. But I liked the hint system, at least some help when player gets stuck.

Also game art is well made with nice references to other games. And music is snappy! Good job.

Developer

Glad you like the art and music! And yeah I agree the game difficulty need some major adjustment :P  Thank you so much for your feedback!

Been hoping to find games based on music beats, love the idea and it sounds amazing no matter what you do, which is great. I like the puzzles, but I kind of wish that you always started in the same place, feel like it would make the focus more on getting the right beat instead of having to juggle two concepts, does that make sense? Great game though, well done!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

About starting position: the game concept is that each level would have more than one valid solution; by choosing different starting positions, the required rhythm would be different, so each player could get a different melody in their playthrough. Therefore, I chose not to limit the starting position, but I guess that backfired horribly by making the game way too difficult. The hints were added to remedy the issue but they weren't quite effective. Will definitely try to balance the puzzles more for the post-jam version.

This is awesome! So much harder than it looks at first. Nice to see different takes on the same basic idea!

Omg the 夜师傅 narrator is so funny i loved him on first sight! Also the game is very smartly designed , very hard to wrap my head around at least hahaha. But i think it is such a good incorporating of the theme of loop!

Developer

Thanks for playing! 感谢好评,夜师傅可爱捏🥰

The complexity of this is a lot higher than it first seems! Nice. A lot more strategy & planning is required, it's surprising you were able to make something this deep in the timeframe that work. & John can MOVE!

Thank you so much!

Always a big fan of programming game. Really like the idea of combining beats with commands!

I'm not sure "flipping on two consequetive beats" is mentioned any where in the game. The hint also does not lead to this conclusion (at least for me). Maybe it could be more explicit.

A small bug: the second level with the drum track seems have the target customer number missing.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah I agree, the introduction/tutorial is too vague. The hint for level 1 was meant to be more explicit, but I accidentally put the hints for level 2 in level 1 instead... that was entirely my mistake lol. And thanks for spotting the bug; I placed in the bubbles last minute so there are actually several levels lacking them, my bad.

Very cute, the music and the rhythm of the characters look great, but it's a bit difficult for me LOL

Developer

I agree the difficulty curve is a bit too steep lol. Now that I think about it, I probably should have extended the tutorial levels, currently the mechanic is quite hard to grasp. Thanks for your feedback!

This is a very cool game that combines programming puzzles with rhythm games. The rhythm element adds refreshing feeling to the puzzle-solving process. It's hard, but really interesting.

Thank you for playing :D

Incredible game! One of the most fun games I've played so far! It's like one of those 'coding tutorials', but actually challenging :D

Soundlooooops. This idea is amazing and the perfect example for a game that deserves 5/5 in the Audio category.

Thank you!!

This is a great idea. I found it hard to figure out what was happening and why. But when I finally got one right the reward was worth it. Even getting it wrong was fun as sometimes I got a little tune going.

Would like a little more guidance on how to play. The Heron’s clues were obvious after I figured out what to do.

Then again, I’m not a puzzle fan, so that may be just me not wanting to think too hard.

All in all, great idea. You should develop it further.
