Game Description
Planet Cleaner" is a relaxing 2D tile-based puzzle game where you play as a little robot on a mission to clean up the galaxy. Navigate beautiful, trash-filled worlds and collect all the junk to restore the planets. The more you clean, the more your abilities expand!

How does your game tie into the theme?
The theme of "Expansion" is the core mechanic of the game. As you collect trash and clear areas, your abilities and tools expand, allowing you to access and clean new, previously unreachable sections of the map. This progression is what drives the gameplay and story.

Very nice graphics and animations, it's really beautiful. The ambiance is pretty cool overall.

The gameplay loop is maybe too simple for me as most of the game is picking up trash, holding T and repeating these two actions. I wish there were a bit more to it: you've got good ideas with the spikes and lasers but in the end, dodging them mainly depends on having upgraded the speed enough times. Going back and forth for trash was only frustrating to me.

Also the music seemed off topic but maybe it's only because I was frustrated by the gameplay :/

For real though, the game is super polished, everything is really clean, great job on that!

Super satisfying and calming experience. I liked the simplicity of the art, it made every tile very easy to read. I got the point of the game quite early and thought to myself that there wouldn’t be much need finishing it, but I ended up too enraptured to stop and got all the way to the end. My only issue was that I couldn’t see my money anywhere, and had to just guess and try every time I came back to the deposit station.

Good job!

One of my favourites from the jam so far, for sure.  Feels really good to play and the music and general ambience is almost cosy.

Such an improvement on the experience from when it was first submitted. I love all the changes and updates that make it so much more than just collecting the trash. The whole experience was brought together really well. Visuals, audio, and the gameplay feel really cohesive. I don't mind taking my time to get to the other side of the map with that soundtrack, either. Superb job.

The gamefeel of this is so good, I love the movement, camera shake, particle effects, adn the graphics overall. It feels really polished and invokes curiosity about the world via its atmosphere and vibe and has a nice arcade feel to it.

I think the UI doesn't scale properly on all resolutions adn was very hard to read for me - it just popped up as way too small. I'm also not sure it had quite enough of a feeling of reward/challenge/objective to it to keep me feeling very engaged in what I was doing, but the gamefeel got me through that to the finish line. Thematically I don't see too much 'expansion', but in any case this was a really cool looking and feeling project that you did really good work on.

What a great experience! Game is polished and enjoyable!

SFX and visual effects do the job!

I really like vibe of the game, chilly but with some arcade challange, nice balance.

Visuals of the game is outstanding, i like how you use lighting to make more deep look of the game, Cool! Inspiring to learn this aspect of godot, worth it!

I would improve moving somehow, i guess game is grid base so movement is as well stick to this but would love to have more fluid movement of character.

Just great job and congratulations on your submission!

Such a satisfying game loop! Very much enjoyed the “do task to get upgrades to do more task to get more upgrades” cycle!

Only comment is that I’d love to have the money displayed on the HUD so I can see my progress but other than that it’s super solid!

What a cute little game. The music is relaxing, and despite the obstacles it’s still a chill game you can kinda just vibe to. Art style is very nice and interactions felt ‘juicy’ and satisfying.

The spike areas when the spikes aren’t active are just slightly too hard to see unless you actively look for them, but other than that I didn’t have any problems. Well done!

Really clean game all the way through, pun intended! The OST and visuals are absolutely on point. I did find a couple bugs, like the second checkpoint's upgrade zones not really displaying right, but they still let me upgrade, so nothing game breaking! Overall a really nice experience, would love to play it more if it had more content and extra mechanics!

Woah! I am really impressed! Everything feels very satysfing VFX and shake makes it super satysfing to clean. Love the WALL-E'esque themes and I am all here for it! Well done! :)
