We aim to shine a spotlight on this beloved genre and the indie devs who have been working hard to add more games to it. This is a companion page to Otome Assortment 2025, with the difference being that submissions to this page must still be in progress and submissions to Otome Assortment 2025 must be 100% completed games.

While the flexibility of the otome genre can vary across communities and studios, for the purposes of submitting to Otome Assortment your game must contain:

• A Female Protagonist
• Predominantly Male Love Interests (50% or higher)
• Romance as a Key Narrative Component

Games with customizable sex and gender for the protagonist can be permitted provided there is sufficient unique content for the female MC (such as Roommates by Winter Wolves), or if the game is clearly written with the female gaze is mind. Day After Day, an otome RPG game with Disco Elysium-inspired mechanics and a tsundere protagonist that loves to push people's buttons.

In addition to meeting the definition of otome stated above, entries must:

• Be UNCOMPLETED with a demo, episodic release, or major update in 2025. Completed games can submit to our companion festival page, Otome Assortment 2025.
• Be in English or have an English translation of the game page
• Have the "otome" tag
• Contain no usage of AI
• Be appropriately labeled if containing R18 material. All characters participating in mature content must be 18+.
• Have at least 3 screenshots
• Have the rights to use all materials present in their game entry

By submitting to Otome Assortment, participants agree to assume full responsibility for their submissions and that the hosts of Otome Assortment are not liable for issues regarding submissions. Participants also agree to allow media from their submissions to be shown in Otome Assortment-related promotional material.
