Create an interactive story on player2.game and enter to win $1,000!

All you need to do is design a character story or interactive story with reusable scenes using our web tool, publish on Player2, and submit the link here.

• Jam start: November 28, 2025 (00:00 UTC)

• Jam end / submissions close: December 12, 2025 (23:59 UTC)

• Results announced: December 19, 2025

Late submissions aren’t accepted, but you can update your Player2 story until the result deadline if you submitted on time.

🧩 What You’ll Make

Build a Player2 AI Story:

It can be either a character with a set of scenes (aka Character Stories) or a story with multiple characters and scenes (aka Visual Stories)

• Minimum: 1 character or 1 visual story with 5+ scenes

• Recommended: 15+ scenes, a strong intro, and at least a few GIFs or videos to boost engagement

• You can generate images and videos using our tool, but also make your own images or videos and upload them

• Intro can be 5 messages to set up the story, or 200 messages, and just let the player enjoy your story

Scene descriptions should clearly include:
Who (character(s)), Where (location), What (action/goal), and the Emotion / physical details (tone, gestures, props, ambience).
These details help the AI smoothly remix scenes beyond your intro.

You can:

• Generate scenes using Player2’s website

• Upload scenes you made elsewhere (images, videos, GIFs)

• Reference popular comic/anime/novel/movie characters (upload images/GIFs as needed) or create originals

Do not create NSFW stories.

🛠️ How to Enter (Step-by-Step)

1. Go to player2.game and enter “My Creations.”

2. Join our Discord https://player2.game/discord and select the game jam role

3. Use the web tool to create a character or a story, add details and scenes.

   • Aim for 15+ scenes mixing short, punchy motion pictures.

   • Start with an engaging intro that sets stakes and tone.

   • Intros can be 5 messages or 200 messages; your goal is to maximise user engagement.

   • Passive consumption from players counts as much as active ones.

4. Publish your story on Player2.

5. Come back to this itch.io page and Submit your Player2 story link as your jam entry.

🏆 Prizes

• 1st: $1,000

• 2nd: $500

• Runners-up: 5 × $250

Prizes paid via standard digital methods to the account holder.

🧮 Judging

Entries will be evaluated by player metrics and human judges, similar to our AI NPC jam.

Player metrics (weighted):

• Engagement: time spent, number of players

• Retention signals: do players return?

Human judge criteria:

• Clarity & reusability of scenes

• Story & worldbuilding

• Pacing & variety

• Art style and presentation

• Adherence to rules (no NSFW, proper submission)

✅ Rules & Content Guidelines

• No NSFW.

• You must submit a Player2 story URL.

• Team or solo entries allowed. Multiple entries permitted—submit each as a separate URL.

• Existing IP/fan characters are allowed. Respect fair use where applicable (you’re responsible for rights to any assets you upload).

• Keep content legal and respectful; no hate speech or harassment.

• Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entries.

📈 Tips for Better Metrics

• Front-load an irresistible intro; give a clear, immediate goal.

• Use GIFs and Videos early and on pivotal beats to boost dwell time.

• Add meaningful branch points—choices that meaningfully alter mood, setting, or stakes.

• Creating different emotional responses and allowing freedom of choice in the same settings.

• Scenes are described as seen, focusing the description on what's inside the i, image/video, not what leads to the scene, so the AI can use the same scene for unexpected directions players travelled to.

Q: Can I update my story after publishing?
Yes, until the result deadline.

Q: Do I have to use Player2’s AI to generate scenes?
No. You can write scenes yourself or upload from elsewhere. The key is clear, reusable descriptions.

Q: What about copyrighted characters?
Fan works are allowed here, but you’re responsible for the rights to any assets you upload. Keep it tasteful and within platform policies.

Q: Is NSFW allowed?
No NSFW content.

Q: Can I work in a team?
Yes. Submit one Player2 link per entry. You can submit multiple entries.
