Zine Month is all about celebrating zines! But we want to celebrate ACTUAL ZINES. The nitty, the gritty, the punk, the raw. Zines that make you FEEL THINGS. Whether it's a game, an art deck, poetry, recipes, or what-have-you, we want to see it! All creations will be featured in markets at the Goosepoop Games booth (as long as you follow the RULES below). 

Rules:

  • NO AI in any form! Any use or subjected use will be banned from submitting further content to Goosepoop Games.
  • Please mark if something is NSFW. Goosepoop Games technically makes PG13ish content, but I want you to feel open to speak.
  • No RACISM, HATE, DISCRIMINATION, or HARASSMENT of any kind! We're trying to create an uplifting and supportive community here.
  • Please mark if you do not want to include your zine in the catalog. There is no pressure to do so. I'm making this a fun opportunity for people to share their work and get paid doing so.
  • It has to be a Z-Fold style Zine. I will be hand making all of these zines, so cutting to specific shapes is a no-go. You can find a template I made here (If you make it a different style I will begrudgingly accept it. I just ask that you help spread the word of this project to your friends). It 100% needs to fit on a normal piece of printer paper (double-sided and color is fine). Please be aware of margins. Printers will not be able to handle full bleed.

What can the Zine be?

  • Game (ttrpg, LARP, board game)
  • Writing (story, poetry, essay, song, recipes)
  • Art (sketches, photos, paintings)
  • All of the above (and more!)

Payment Negotiation:

I want to make this as simple as possible. I will send a more detailed form to you to fill out, but here is a brief summary: I plan to sell each zine at $6 each, or $5 when discounted. I will take 30% ($1.80 for a $6 zine), which covers the printing and effort to sell the zine, while you get 70%. I plan to only print 5 copies of the zine for the initial run, then double it for each consecutive restock. If the print run does not sell out within 6 months of it landing in the shop then I will not have another run of it. I will offer trades to people, but you will still receive a payout as if it was sold. Payouts will be sent at the end of each month to your PayPal.
