How hard was it develop such a game on the pico-8? The game would be impressive if it was develop on a more powerfull engine, let alone a pico

Not too bad - I originally avoided making platformers in pico-8 because it felt too hard, but after looking at some examples of how other people did it (especially Celeste Classic) it gave me a lot more confidence. Coincidentally I had been working on a platformer a few weeks before gmtkjam so I was in the right mindset to reimplement a similar system. It wasn't too bad in the end! :)
