Briefly chiming just because this is something I’ve also dealt with to a degree - I can’t help with all different sources of anxiety, but one particular anxiety I have with publishing things is like the fear of a project not being good enough. Like if I feel like I should be embarrassed by it or something?

So recently, I’ve tried to frame my creative pursuits as being snapshots of my current abilities, as opposed to perfect projects. Like I’m leaving a trail behind of my progress. For me at least, this has helped take off the pressure of things needing to be perfect :P

I really like the way you put that! It’s such a healthy mindset. Thinking of creative work as snapshots of where you are right now makes the whole process feel more like a journey than a test. It’s almost like building a timeline of your growth, where each project is a marker of progress rather than a final verdict. That perspective not only takes the pressure off perfection but also makes it easier to look back and appreciate how far you’ve come. That is such an awesome mindset!

Have a blessed day! :)
