Oh! nice! Im working on a new update for the game right now. But I will try to simplify inputkeys, UI, controls, etc. I can also add a button to add a keyboard for the login process. Also every action (equip, remove, apply, throw) can be accesed from the inventory menu (actions are at the bottom for each item). Maybe I can let you use directional keys to select the desired action, simplifying the input_key mapping...
I will test this when I have the R36S :P

But how you managed to map all the keyboard keys to a handled device?! Im curious haha. And yes, you have full permission to port the game. Im updating the game every 6 months. It is possible to teach me how you do this so I can update the ported version too? (I will recieve an R36s for xmas!)

Looks like this dupe-bug is the same as double-input-bug. So this will be solved with the upcoming update :)

I wanna add a "name item" command to do that. I dont know if I can add this feature on next upcoming update. But for sure we will have this at some point!

There is a rare bug with dungeon generation. I will fix this next update.

After checking the database, there’s no player who has survived past floor 20… so maybe the game/RNG generated a bug on that floor? I’ll do a playtest tonight and post the results here. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ei! felicidades por tu victoria. Nivel 24 está genial. Si te ha gustado el género te recomiendo que pruebes Coop Catacombs, es igualito que GodoRogue pero algo más moderno y con mecánicas de cooperación que le da un toque diferente al juego. Lo tienes en mi perfil para jugar :)

Haha, I totally get where you’re coming from, and I 100% agree that open-sourcing can keep roguelikes alive and evolving. The thing is… I’m honestly a pretty terrible programmer 😅 The code for this game is a complete mess — unreadable, badly structured, and with zero comments. I’d be kind of embarrassed to put it out there in that state.

That said, for smaller projects or little tools I usually do share the source, so I’m definitely not against the idea in general. Just… this particular codebase is more of a crime scene than something others could actually build on!

Do you have any gamepad connected to your computer? (just connected)

Are you still having this error? Maybe I can help to diagnose your problem.

I don't know if I can make something like that... server builder or mod support :( But I will investigate

Hi! Thanks for reporting this. Some other players on Discord have reported the same issue.

After some debugging, I found the problem: the game enters an infinite loop if the RNG tries to spawn a second Feather item.

I'll publish a small update this week to fix it.

Hola! En realidad soy español, pero veo algo complejo traducir todo el texto y el sistema de generación de poemas y relatos al castellano. No preparé este juego pensando en multi-idioma :(

I think this bug will be solved on next update. @TimaWUB helped me to reproduce the bug and I found flag that Ive missed to reset when throwing a potion after cancelling an staff zap.

There is not a key to repeat last action, BUT there is a command to re-throw your last projectile. Press capital T (Shift+T) after you already throwed a Javelin to a monster.

I like OAuth but doing this now will break all the database, forcing me to refactor all the netcode/database. Im not storing any information (just user name and password, mail is optional). The password is hashed+salted using Bcrypt.

I can't help with that. For some reasons, Bitdefender blacklisted my domain. I've tried to contact Bitdefender's team for a removal/whitelist, without success.
Is up to you: you can disable your Bitdefender software. The only I can say is my domain is secure. Nothing is installed on your system. The URL you are pointing is just for create an user account.

That means "something" broke the random seed chain. Hummmm. Thanks for reporting this.
I will change how the dungeon generation works to ensure using an static counter instead the current "chains" system. Hope this will solve those weird bugs.

Single thread only since multi-thread will cause some bugs in Godot 3.X. Im using Godot 3.6-stable. I don't like the new Godot 4.x branch

I wanna first port my GodoRogue game to Steam first, then maybe I will port Coop Catacombs.
