Controls are on the top left of the title screen! :)

For a summary, click and hold white blocks down, and drag them downwards to make a path. Clock and hold the red magnets and pull then upwards to pull a block up.

Yep! The other phases of the boss made up for the challenge, don't worry :)

It's an autorunner where instead of moving your character to avoid the terrain, you take control (wink wink nudge nudge) of the level itself. You're a world traveler who came across a broken world, so you've taken on the duty of fixing it up! The controls go as such:

Left Click / Single Finger Tap: Drag.  Drag blocks down to make a path for the traveler, and drag red magnets up to bring a block up to the path, pulling it up from the void below!

Right Click / Double Finger Tap: Dash. Dash through blue barriers!

You can play To Reassemble A Broken World here!

This game is adorable, and my favorite in terms of visual and audio design! The sound effects sound so whimsical, which really matches the animation. The gameplay is also really fun too! The only real points of criticism i have are that the screen-flash when you phase is a bit much. Camera shake, some particles, stuff like that would've done the trick. Also for the object that launches you around, it would be nice to have a dotted trajectory line. I'm excited to see more!

Juice. That's all I can say. I was beaming playing the game the whole way through! The game feels SO good to play, and the music is a blessing to my ears matched with the gameplay. The only criticism I have is that the walljumping feels a bit awkward. Other than that, it's a great game!

The roots of something there are good, but i think it needs a lot more work. Dying seemed to not work? The green bar was fully depleted but i was still able to play.

The zombie looks very funny.

This is the best game i've played yet! Music's good, the visuals are really great, and the puzzles were challenging but simple enough to be fun to figure out. However, there is one issue i found. The first "chase" part of the final boss is COMPLETELY cheesable. Before the boss comes you can hit the "take control" button, which just lets you freecam to each puzzle and solve them before the chase even begins. If this isn't intentional, please fix.

Other than that though, the game was just really. really good! Good job!

Neat game! I like the art style, its silly and appealing to look at. It's a cool way to interpret the theme, having each creature you control act like a copy effect. If you do decide to continue developing this game I'd try to delve more into the strategy, having you be able to choose which targets you try to control and gain abilities from before the boss. It would add some much needed depth. Regardless, good job!

There isn't a way to jump; you have to drag the blocks to make a path. Also what do you mean you fall through the platforms? Do you mean the red magnets? You need to drag those up to bring a block up to the stage.

Like the art, and the writing of the Dev() is really charming.

Pretty fun game! I like the artstyle and the way the theme is put into the plot.

Yeah, I spent a lot of time trying to balance it so that the bomb speeds up faster than the fuse if you play well, but in hindsight I should've just made the fire slow down instead.

Thanks!

Thank you so much!

I don't plan to, but thanks for the feedback! I would've never noticed.

Fun game! I liked the whole presentation, and the voice lines were a really nice touch!

This game was awesome!! Good job on winning!

good job for winning!!!!

I genuinely love this game's audio; it's the highlight of the game for me! The graphics are really wonderful too, adds to the feeling the game exudes. One note is that the small, purple asteroids are very easy to confuse with the stars you need to collect. I think adding some small tweaks on top of that like a brief pause when you knock into something before the lose screen would go a long way!

I see. Maybe that could be implemented as an "easy mode" if I were to continue the game.

Thank you!

Thank you! What tweaks would you suggest?

Poor guy, yeah. The Killbot isn't exactly someone who's happy.

Thank you for playing, though!

I really like this! It could do with a little more direction (as i found myself a little lost about how the mechanics worked), but overall the puzzles were fun. I liked how you had to actively think about where you are in the map and how to move properly.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

TKWL is a 2D platformer with unconventional controls starring a robot called, well, the Killbot! As the name would suggest, the Killbot is extremely good at killing (one might even say to an overpowered extent), but one day he gained empathy and realized he doesn't want to hurt anybody! And so, you have to manuver the world as this gigantic hulking murder machine... without killing a single soul.

Because of this, you have to be extremely precise with your movement; one wrong move could rack up your killcount.

If you enjoy platformers that are difficult to control and require precision, check it out and give it a rating! (The game only supports PC.)

See below at my replies to another comment, but in short the way i interpreted the theme is a game where you're so overpowered it's legitimately hard to be a pacifist

that's why the controls are the way they are, they're SUPPOSED to be difficult

Thank you for playing anyway!

indeed...

Thank you! I'll try it out when I have the chance.

That's... kinda the entire point?

The whole point of the game is that you're so strong that you have to hold back your movement and move in a very weird and specific way to avoid hurting anybody. It's supposed to be a very difficult game too. I'll give you the attacks interfering with movement though; I thought of it as a "punishment" for letting the attacks trigger, but in practice even I felt it was a little weird and sometimes frustrating....

I made a pretty solid platformer called The Killbot Who Loved (click here) that stars an overpowered main character who's whole goal is to NOT kill anybody! But, he's so overpowered that you have to purposely resist destroying anything.

This game is very good! The puzzle aspect was pretty enjoyable. It's extremely simple, but I see that as a merit; it's easy to pick up, it's well polished, and the graphics are well designed.

happy (late) birthday my guy!

Interesting little game. I feel like there was a bit of a missed opportunity to make it an actual chess game with one pawn with the ability to teleport on your side instead of 8 normal ones, but what's here is fun!

I liked level 3 and the final boss, the challenge is really solid! The graphics are great, and the controls feel very responsive!

silly little game! i like how much destruction you can cause

SUPER solid for a 3-day project! The graphics are simple but extremely effective. Definitely the best part of this game is the JUICE of it, it feels amazing to bombard all of the enemies! Really captures the feeling of being overpowered.

One problem I found is the movement; it's very jittery and the game is a little laggy which messes up things even more.

thanks!! :)

You're right, i'll keep that in mind.
