Now I know why I hate autocorrect so much... This game!

My typing as gotten bad and not even noticed it.

I would say it would be really nice if you had some options for difficulty and make the spells easier to type so it appeared quote symbol was actually a space sometimes...

Interesting take on the theme and it was fun just wish I was better

Thanks for playing, yeah I really wanted to add some descriptions in the game, but as it is designed for mobile the hover doesn't make sense so need to think how to do this.
I wanted to add different types of rooms wall designs to make them feel different and could be used to block the shooter etc..

Also I actually built in a prestige mechanism to reset the castle and stats with bonus to experience gain and difficulty but didn't have time to implement it.

The artwork and sound/music in this game were amazing.

It felt like a Slay the Spire mixed with Sin City, very impressive and cool vibes.

I was very impressed with the subtle effects of moving the mouse a little to move the screen it added some much to the feel of the game.

Thanks for submitting this was a great one

Thanks for playing, agree it needs some refinement and you are hitting on my todo list - although with mobile there is no however so I need to think about how to do the explanations.

Fun 3d shooter game. The shop and upgrades was an excellent touch. The sound and music were great as was the graphics, really liked the animation of the skull talking at the beginning, if you had more time and lined up the movements with the sound it would have been super impressive.

Only gripe is the difficulty seemed to ramp up a little too fast and the gun shot too slow, but better that than endless too easy.

Thanks for submitting, it was fun!

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it.

Yeah, the mobile aspect really limits things but I really want to my games to be mobile friendly as my plan is to release them there

Thanks for playing and the kind words.

I agree that the coins/monsters become hard to tell apart and will need to find a way to account for this on update.

I wanted to include some sort of guiding element if you cannot find the changes after a while but purposely didn't do animations although could change that on later release

Thanks again

Love the fun take on the theme.

Never thought I would be fixing up zombie after killing them for so long.

Really like the zombie walking motion, the leg/foot drag was great as is the way they jump up on the surgery table.

The music and staple sound effects were great too.

Thanks for submitting

Nice little platformer with clean and pleasant artwork.

The level progression was good and the controls felt responsive.

Really like the hidden message.

Thanks for submitting!

Fun little game there and nice take on the theme.

Never thought a dentists would have to work so fast though, I got $319 and my patent only lost one tooth :)

Thanks for submitting it was fun

Really liked the story, and the pixelated artwork. The music goes nicely with it as well.

It tried playing twice and got the same ending, is there a different one?

Thanks for submitting

Thanks for playing and for providing your feedback.

I want this to be playable for mobile - final target destination, you should be able to full screen to see the pixels better.

I wanted to use small tiles to give it the rogue feel, most of the tiles/monsters credit goes to:

https://vurmux.itch.io/urizen-onebit-tileset

I did add some art myself though

Thanks for playing, you should notice the walls start decaying leading to new rooms and new stairways leading to better upgrades.

The map is randomly generated (besides the first four rooms), so your opening may be anyway.

Thanks for playing and your comments - For now will add the descriptions on the main page (would have made more of a intro if I had more time). Later, I will improve the description and provide a better feedback on your return, before releasing to mobile.

There are different types of monsters and upgrades - you should have gotten the hammer at the second stair case / boots on the second.

The difference between the p is that is 1 experience point where as the first EP is 5 experience points, next is 25 and so on

Thanks again for playing

Thanks for playing, yeah that beginning shader is pumping out a lot of color and change. Shader Toy is how I got started with this game and then found 3dTerrain... just incredible good assets out there.

Thanks for making the video glad you were able to play through it.

Farm expansion! The artwork/music/sound effects work well together and the gameplay is solid.

Really like the card mechanics and pulling down pumpkin after pumpkin is very rewarding.

Was there an end to the game? I keep growing the farm but outside of making more money/expanding wasn't sure if there was another goal.

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it.

Interesting take on the theme, I like how as you lose air you shrink and you used this pretty well in the last level.

controls felt a little off at times and the hitting the walls seemed too jarring, smoothing that out would help make it  better game.

But overall it was a fun experience, thanks for submitting

Took a while but I grew a mushroom and was picked!

I like the way it gets harder as you get bigger.

Wish you could hold down the direction key and not need to push it each time.

But fun submission especially for your first, keep them coming

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it.

I used 3dTerrain, it is easy to use and beautiful, my first time using it - definitely want to see want else I can do with it

Nice puzzle game and great way to incorporate the theme.

Don't recall playing one like this before.

The graphics and music are great and the sound effects fit right in.

Great submission

Did you download the dll files or the color_win.zip file?
default setting on the price never bothered changing it.

You need the dll files for windows, you can get all the files from the colors_win.zip

I love this game, one of my favorites so far this jam.

So simple and so rewarding watching my small blob becoming a massive fat blob that some  how can still dodge enemies. Great Fun!

Only complaint is the after getting to 100 food it got a little boring and felt like I could go on forever, new enemies or something could have really pushed it even farther - but keep it simple.

Oh and music and sound effects would have been nice too

Thanks for submitting looking forward to see what you do next

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it, assuming those were all positive :D

Gameplay was straight forward and fun.

Very nice for your first submission

Some nice sound effects and music would really have brought this game to the next level.

And as others have mentioned the game was too easy you need to slowly built up the difficulty, but again great for your first, keep them coming

Interesting take on the theme, always up for a good overhead shooter.

The game seems simple enough and although the first enemy is probably a little harder than he should be I was able to handle him, didn't understand the throwing weapon until looking here.

Unfortunately the game has several bugs where you cannot go anywhere and the sound/music stops working.

Hope you can iron them out as this has potential.

Keep them coming

Nice little resource collect and spend game there.

Once I realized how important energy speed I focused on that and it was off to the races.

Just wish there was some sort of ending was you collected everything but understand time constraints

Very nice relaxing game going from planet to planet collecting their resources.

The music was prefect for the game and the simple yet beautiful graphics gave it the complete polish.

Only complaint was the Sol parts took a very long time to collect but did fit with the theme.

Minor suggestion you could have made the planets change color/appearance as you drain their resources and eventually leave them as obsolete rocks floating in space, but just a suggestion - great submission!

Very fun platformer - really like the theme implemented to expanding your surroundings very clever.

The puzzle were fun but not frustrating which is a good balance - really liked the secret level too, thanks for that addition

Interesting take on theme, reminds me of the original sim city - at least with your game I understood the results of building the different types :)

Liked the simple graphics but the music did start to wear on me after a while

Found the controls a little confusing as I was not using a gamepad and accidently reset my game when I filled up the screen... was making $80+ a day too

Thanks for submitting it was fun and nice work especially being your first

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it, yes didn't want it to be a slow boring game.

Very interesting idea with the color blind test, obviously a potential problem but there are ways to switch palettes to account for this. I don't know where I will take this - often let the themes/wild cards direct my games.

Thanks again for playing and the good feedback

Fun little retro game.

Once you understand the mechanics it was enjoyable.

My only gripe is the controls for mobile cover most of the screen and it would be a nice option to be able to hide them when playing with a keyboard.

Thanks for submitting it was fun

Really like the game mechanics and watching my numbers "expand" out of control:
500k ants
60k+ bees
30k birds
A little more guidance would have been nice, but I figured it out.

For others, just build and build and build ants they basically produce the bees and birds via their houses (guess that should have been birds and the bees)

Lastly, some nice tunes would really would have helped this one to the next level - but understand time constraints, thanks for submitting

Glad you enjoyed it... hopefully it will "be continued", the 3dTerrain package is amazing so plan to expand on it

Glad you liked it. The color selection process was all done in a shader that looped through the colors and found the "closest" fit then the shade of the color was determined by "closest" again - it felt a little wonky but ended making the colors cycle which made the rainbow progression work.

I am a terrible expanding arm waiter apparently...

I understood what I needed to do but really struggled to do kept pushing the wrong buttons...

took 5 tries to satisfy the first table... then there were two - helpless (my fault not yours)

Good take on the theme and really like the art style and the sfx/music fit nicely

Nice submission especially for it being your first

Very nice cozy game. Really like the music and pixelation/reduced color palette effect.

Good balance of collecting objects to make magic, was scared when I needed 99 Cozy magic.

Great submission especially for your first GWJ, keep them coming.

Fun game.... Although making me work to find out what happens with Horace was cruel, Loved it!

Thanks for submitting

Glad you liked the intro
I have uploaded the necessary files via bug fix (thanks GWJ team)
