I just uploaded a new version called "Demo 1.0.6 Windows Compatibility Mode.zip" Can you see if that one works for you? If it doesn't, could you go to "C:\users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Idle Gumball Machine\logs" and email me the log files at antiquegearstudio@gmail.com so I can see what's up? (replace "YOUR_USERNAME_HERE" with your username)

Thanks! Is this the version you downloaded from itch? If so, you should be able to download the new version from here and it should work. There was an issue with the download itch build.

That's still not super specific. Does it start at all? Does it show a splash screen for a few seconds and then crash? Does it freeze? Can you please describe it in more detail? There are many ways a game can be rendered unplayable. Thanks again for your time.

Hey, thanks for reporting this! You're now able to download a new version that should work.

Hi, what do you mean by "steam version doesn't work"? Is it not launching, not downloading, is the link to the Steam page not working, is it freezing, crashing, or doing something weird? Does the Itch version work?

Thanks for the help.

Hey, thanks! I'm hoping the full game is gonna release in March, but we'll have to see what my publisher has to say about that lol

Aaahhh ok, I'll give that a shot when I get the chance.

bruh I can't look around
I think the game isn't grabbing my mouse. It should also grab it when I go into fullscreen and release it when I go out of full screen. (this is in the web version. idk if this happens in the download)

Hi, the FAQ said that premade assets are fine. Does this include code/scripts that aren't specific to this jam? (Math helper scripts, pause menu templates, etc.)

Thanks!

Thank you! The full game lets you go much further than this version.

Awwww that stinks! Sadly, the full game is too big to upload to itch, and doing a Mac port is a huge pain. I hear that Mac Windows emulation is getting better, so it might be worth looking into that if you haven't recently.

Hey, just wanna let you know that you can now playtest the full version of the game! If you wanna try it out, here's a link where you can request access: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3724490/Idle_Gumball_Machine/

Hey, just wanna let you know that you can now playtest the full version of the game! You can now keep on going for a very very long time because I fixed the integer overflow issue. Thank you!!!!!

Lol poggers

Thanks a million! 🥳

Thank you! Did you wishlist it on Steam? (you better have lol >:-/)

me when the estate is eerie

I love juggling, and I love how intensely his giant eyes are piercing my soul...

Good suggestion, although I think I'll make it so that the gamer adds the ball's gold to your gold when it hits the wall. I think that multiplying your total gold or gum is generally a bad idea anyways lol

Lol, thanks! It's probably gonna be a lot less than $10 btw

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm making the full version, which has a steam page. (Wishlist pls!)

I'll look into the dust particle, and I think the gamer not seemingly doing anything is because he gives you a small percentage of gold, which is at first less than 1, so he doesn't do anything at first, but then once he does it's not really noticable.

LOOOL thank you! I'm making a full version, so if you wanna play it, please give it a wishlist so I can afford to eat food! (I like food tbh) You can also give feedback and suggest things on the discord server. Here's links to both if you're interested.

And yeah, squash & stretch is OP

Indeed.

I WON!!!! Very nice, I love how calm the mice look.

Ha, thank you! Steam page coming soon btw...

Thank you! Working on getting a Steam page up, so get your wishlist finger ready! I don't have an exact release date, but it won't be TOO long. A better demo will probably be out fairly soon too.

Thank you very much! I think the "Gamer" upgrade has the most personality imo.
