Will do!

This was actually loads of fun. Good theme integration, I would have liked to see the art represent the theme a little more, It feels like robots, or even circuit boards would have been more thematically on point than zombies. The atmosphere is very good and suits the horror vibe.

Did I notice some dynamic music switching? very nice.

Oh, and special note to using the 3D black walls as a visual sight mechanic for the top down 2D.

Thank you so much! lemme know how the PvP combat goes! It should be fully functional for up to 4 Human players, or 2 humans vs 2 Bots.

Thank you so much! I have been stewing on some input mechanics for a while and this jam was the perfect place to test them out.
Speaking of eve, I am working on a battle ship version of these  mechanics, much slower movement pace, and with broad side volley projectiles. Basically space Brigantine  combat. might just be your vibe.

Good theme integration, nice visuals  and novel idea. The gameplay can be frustrating, and the short music loop tempts insanity, but there is some real fun in here. Good game.

This was a good one, nice visuals, great sound and clever theme integration. I would have like a little more gameplay experimentation or input modification. Big props for controller support. I had a blast.

ps. Special mention to the dart animation 🤌.  it telegraphs the well, and the squash stretch is too pleasing. It outshines the other visuals a little.

haha yes! the trailer  🤣 30 seconds of me getting pummeled.  lemme know what ya think when you are done.

Great visuals, great sound, and on theme. I would have loved to have seen a little more experimentation with the game play itself, but that's being nit picky. Top marks! had a blast.

If you feel like some deep mechanics, tactical twin stick action, come and fight my vicious and viscous bot!

Let me know if you win! let me know if you don't, and don't hold back with the feedback I can take it!

Thank you! it's pretty bare bones, but with just 3 days pretty happy.

The theme integration follows through in most areas and stays on target where most ( myself included ) failed

I would work on pacing, and maybe add a little juice, but this is a solid entry.

I honestly loved it, novel idea, great execution. Honestly with a few tweaks this could have made a great incremental. Super solid concept, and just lovely clear visuals. From a GameJam perspective I think theme integration is a little weak, but that's very nitpicky from a guy who also sucks at theme integration.

Fantastic start to something great.

Game was great. The sassy, juicy,  green butt twerking, was perfect.

I will post it as an update in the GeneCraft Devlog so since you are following me you should get a notification.

Yep, the entire visuals of the game was made using shaders. I try to practice cruelty free code, so no sprites where harmed during the production.

I have gotten a few requests on the implementation and its pretty easy to do and can work on virtually any shader so I might just put a little video together on the topic.

I loved the mechanic and I am really bad at platformers in general. With that in mind take my suggestion for what its worth. I feel a two headed axe needs some goblin skulls to crack, secondary objectives and objects and some unnecessary violence could soothe the soul of a living weapon.

What a ridiculously well crafted and in-depth feedback, not even my submission and I learnt something. Thank you.

I did a terrible job of explaining the "dash" as the rest of the controls. The dash happens in the direction of movement, and is controllable with a hold that also charges it up. Thank you so much for taking the time, I really appreciate the feedback!

Certainly one of the best in show. no notes, just love.

Go for it man! minimalist games do well and this is a great start

Same, here there is so much that an extra day could have made, but that's on me not time managing right. I spent a whole day tweaking an already working and fine dash instead of fixing the broken UI, and shop, and enemy visuals.

Had a great time, one of the best so far. A solid foundation for an incremental game like Node Buster

As twin stick lovers this was a novel take, We really had a good time! and in 8 hours this is amazing,

I see you are a fellow fan of Dark "Shader" arts,

This one has some really nice bones! Just me or could this be great fun with controller support and same screen co-op

This one has some cool bones!

Its very rough still and can be unforgiving, I tried to warn you.

shader wizardry indeed, The entire game is made out of shaders, Signed Distance Fields to be precise and I don't use any sprites or texture at all save the logo on the intro screen. Thank you very much for noticing.

An original take for sure! Solid experience, well made, music was a standout.

I love Twinstick shooters! I think there are some clever ideas in there. I think the characters are a little large, I felt like I cant see far enough ahead, but then again I tend to make my characters very tiny.

Thanks so much, it's a pretty rough draft at the moment, truly appreciate the feedback.

Solid hook, on theme, and finely polished. RNG can hurt but brings me back for more.

Very polished for a playtest! Good rework of these mechanics with a fresh twist. loved it.
