Also can anyone share their strategy for sneaking? I keep losing myself and starting over from the beginning

hey, I found a bug where if I've held crouch while opening a note, the screen turns blank and I can't see anything anymore. I've let the oxygen run out and it still stays blank, have to restart from the pause menu to be able to play.

You guys tried my game! That's so unexpected but I'm happy! I plan on continuing work on this game now that the jam is over, so I'll make sure to add some sounds and other elements to improve the overall experience. Thanks a lot for your kind feedback, I'm glad that you see some potential here

the art is so sick in this, and the character designs look really cool! And I liked the interactivity and items scattered throughout, little bits and pieces of foreshadowing, false clues, all tied up nicely. It's a very well made visual novel!

I was also pleasantly surprised to be reprimanded by ater when i entered the house too soon lol

the animations are so sick, the gameplay is simple and fun, classic upgrade on death is a good gameplay loop. and holy shit the music,the music is so next level

 Cold Case (not actually about a cold case)

it's a fairly simple story, but i thought it was executed pretty neatly for a visual novel. 

to be honestI'm still not sure if the ending was hinting at us being the cause of the hiker disappearances, or if we just dealt justice to the escaped convict the sheriff mentioned at the start,but that's what I really liked about it. Gave some fodder for theories, and left with an ending that lets us draw our own interpretation, all in a short package

and thanks for taking the time to discuss the game with me, it was really nice to read your interpretation and share mine

holy shit this is insanely well made, and everything is done with so much style. The title screen animation is really cool, the controls feel smooth, and the environment design is SO COOL
really enjoyed this, it's crazy. Definitely going to spend a good while exploring this

this is fun! the art is so cool, and the premise is a very cool take on the theme. And the music is so fitting, it has an otherworldly vibe but also sounds sinister and offputting. Everything works splendidly with the core gameplay
I enjoyed the whole experience, it's a nice game!

I'm so glad you played my game! It's still pretty barebones because I miscalculated the time, but I plan to keep updating to hopefully make it a lot more fun

nice game! simple art, narrative is great with all the mystery and intrigue, and the ending is foreshadowed just enough to make it feel satisfying. Just a short and interesting ride that leaves you feeling smug

this is no walking sim, it's a gotdank maze! i was conned!

jokes aside lol this was really fun, i enjoyed trying to figure out the way and getting lost equally, I'll definitely keep an eye out for updates

The silence and the echoing sfx are perfect for this atmosphere, the environment is spooky but also beautiful, the controls are suuuuuper smooth, and you can basically figure out the controls with little handholding. just jump right into the camp and start sneaking around! the death mechanic is also nicely done, simple but engaging way of progression

i really enjoyed this!

excellent writing, good pacing, the sfx and interactions are immersive, and there's a variety of choices to take
the mechanics for the choices and strengths are fantastic
it's a nice game!

it's a nice game, I spent way too long in the starting area (skill issue) but soon enough found my way to where the party's at
the platforming itself was a bit fast paced but still fun, i still enjoyed the mechanics 
i had fun!
